  1. The guaranteed money makes it basically a 3 year deal though, with team option years 4-6.
  2. Many people asked me how the Saints can be over the cap and sign Ingram, but the cap isnt a concern until March 10 at 4PM. By then the Saints will have restructured a number of contracts to be under the cap. Bringing back Ingram was likely a sign that there was lukewarm interest in Ingram at a high price outside of New Orleans so it made sense to come back to the place where he began his career. I would not be shocked if the first year payout and guarantee match the $5.2M or so salary he would have earned if the Saints picked up the option year on him last year. This contract should be a sign that the Marshawn Lynch deal has no bearing on the market and that prices will remain unchanged from last season. http://overthecap.com/quick-thoughts-first-wave-signings/

  4. Black & Blue Review @BlackBlueReview Oops, that was Green-Beckham earlier. Not the other way around.
  5. Black & Blue Review @BlackBlueReview Tempting. That’s the word I’d use for Beckham-Green. But will be REALLY hard for #Panthers to sell themselves on him after Hardy stuff.
  6. Black & Blue Review @BlackBlueReview Not sure. What's sure -- he's passes the eye test. RT @valentinolivry: @BlackBlueReview Think panthers would consider him at 25? THE PLOT THICKENS
  7. “League executives don’t operate under the same burden of proof as the court system. They have the previous guilty verdict, they have Holder’s testimony and they have the prosecution’s claim of a civil settlement between Hardy and Holder. That’s enough for them to act, and they surely will. And as we saw with Adrian Peterson, the league won’t consider Hardy’s paid leave last year to be a form of punishment.” Panthers' Greg Hardy unlikely to escape NFL's punishment

  11. Steve Reed @SteveReedAP Correction on earlier tweet. It is foot injury, not knee for Lotulelei. lol
  12. Steve Reed @SteveReedAP Colin Cole said Lotulelei will need surgery on the knee.
  13. Steve Reed @SteveReedAP Panthers DT Star Lotulelei out for wild-card game vs. Seattle with knee injury, according to several teammates. Foot? Knee? Which is it?
  14. So how does Stephen Hill look? But seriously, good poo Zod. I don't listen to podcasts but I love this. Keep it up.
  15. Yeah I was gonna mention this. My dad works for a news station in NC and he hates getting 911 calls from the PD now because of the distorted voices.
  16. I hate that 911 calls are modulated in North Carolina...
  17. If a woman is beating the everliving poo outta you then yes, there is a reason.
  18. A joke or two is welcome with everyone flipping their poo and rushing to conclusions.
  19. Cool cool cool. IANAL. The tweets someone else posted from a lawyer in CLT were pretty insightful.
  20. Yeah I see CJ as a money first kind of guy. I don't think he's willing to take a pay cut honestly.
