  1. Joseph used to be a guy I hoped we'd pick up. He came into the league with a fair amount of hype but just never quite lived up to it. Good, but not really great or dominant.
  2. You is correct and speaks English real good
  3. Fair enough... The most obsessively secretive team in the NFL is live streaming practice... But not us. We might give away something important.
  4. Eeehhh, for something like this I think most folks just roll their eyes. When it's something like "Panthers sign Newton" and it turns out to be Phil Newton from Podunk State or "McCaffrey injured" and "haha gotcha, it's Luke McCaffrey" or some such, that pisses people off. Basically, you can be funny but don't be a dumbsh-t.
  5. Yeah, that...really doesn't make any sense at all. What people hate is seeing their favorite sports team be bad. And over the past two seasons, that's exactly what we've all seen. You can be hopeful for this season if you prefer, but whether you want to admit it or not, there is plenty of reason to doubt that things are going to get any better under our current leadership. And no, you don't have to have any kind of self-loathing personality disorder to see it that way. I know it's a popular sports talk defense mechanism to frame things like that, but frankly it's pretty lazy.
  6. Seattle having a great season with or without Walker would shock the hell out of me. Beyond that? Yeah...no
  7. A starting O-Line that doesn't include Pat Elflein or Michael Jordan
  8. Also this (from around 1:25 into the clip) It feels like pretty much everybody understands this "competition" is silly, continuing it even more so...
  9. This sounds like a remake of The Lion King written, directed by and starring Tommy Wiseau. "I did not kill Mufasa! I did noooottt...Oh hi, Mark"
  10. Rivera was likeable to the nth degree. Still is...
  11. They probably think we just need to understand how the process is 1000% working.
  12. I've said before that David Tepper is aware of how people see him. Looks like Matt Rhule is too.
  13. I get the feeling you guys aren't particularly gonna enjoy this quote either...
  14. Wait...You said I was making dissimilar comparisons, and then you turn around and tell us that we should be able to get a trade for Sam Darnold just because we got one for Greg Little? Yikes
  15. Well technically, he only said he was a "football guy". All of us could probably lay claim to that title
  16. Our old friend The Dude did a full game analysis of Penning...
  17. I'd like that answer a lot better if he'd gotten more practice reps, but basically I agree. You also need to give him some help though.
  18. Hard to say without seeing more but...ouch! (I'm not the world's biggest fan of those grading systems anyway)
  19. Well, this probably won't help. Rhule has stated that the competition for the starting quarterback spot is still ongoing. In fact, he previously said that the starters were only getting minimal reps in preseason one because he expected to give them a lot of reps during the joint practices with the Patriots. That means Rhule will be devoting yet more time in these practice sessions to answering a question seemingly everyone else already knows the answer to, as opposed to using time to help coach up our rookie "future" QB. Because why not?
