The story was that we attempted to trade up to get Clausen, which we did. And unlike your characterization of it being just a few spots, it would have been a pretty significant jump. As to whether people suggested we tried to trade next year's first rounder? Nobody knows for certain what was offered other than that the Rams asked for more than we were willing to give up. Could it have included next year's first? Given that Marty had already done that twice, yes it's possible. I get that you're trying to spend this so that you can still say you were right. You weren't, and youve neither proven nor "debunked" anything.

The Rams had the 33rd pick. We had the 48th. In no world is that "a few spots". Heck, it's almost half a round.

Based on what I saw of him, I wouldn't characterize Corral as bad or anything of the sort. He didn't strike me as anything special, though.

Don't see that as too likely. But even if it happens, no I won't be "back on board". Rhule is in over his head and a real NFL coach is needed.

I share the distrust in Matt Rhule, but I have equal distrust in David Tepper. And besides, based on comments from Person, Albright and others, sounds like it's at least possible that Tepper is in favor of drafting Pickett.
