We're not headed for a scenario where people start suggesting the Panthers sign him, are we? I know we've got a few folks who want the team to sign every malcontent who hits the streets but come on...
-
Yeah, I'm not sure how Ellis sees them on "good terms" when, if I recall correctly, a big part of Watson's issues began when O'Brien traded away his best receiver.
-
Apparently, O'Brien joining the Panthers could be an option. Not a fan of this idea

It's number conspiracy theory guy again.

Does anyone have Tepper’s email, not Appaloosa

Do you have a numeric formula that proves this? -
I think MTV or somebody did a sketch a while back that portrayed Jessica Simpson as a super genius who just played dumb to fool people. Also remember seeing an interview or something with Anna Nicole Smith that left me firmly convinced her dimwitted persona was all an act.

Not a search firm, just Ernie Accorsi.
-
If so, I hope versatility isn't the primary trait we're looking for this time.

Looks like Yetur Gross-Matos is gonna be out too.

I'm not holding my breath

Matt Rhule Got to Hand Pick 2 QB's...Will There Be a 3rd**

I wouldn't even want Matt Rhule picking the punter. -
Speaking of intelligence... I find this to be a pretty smart statement
-
Could be, but as I recall his family went on Celebrity Family Feud and came off looking like dimwitted meatheads.

How do you feel about the Panthers future with Matt Rhule

Here's the primary guy you absolutely don't want having Tepper's contact info. (that'd be Lifetime stalker movie material) -
First, he's generally considered to be a nice guy. Second, and probably more important, they don't give a rat's ass about the Panthers.
-
I think the Panthers would love to have kept Norwell but felt like they had to choose between him and Trai Turner. One thing history tells us clearly is that when it comes to choices like this, the Panthers pretty consistently make the wrong one.
-
Here's where your argument goes wrong.

Tepper is the one who retained Marty and trusted him with that job. The business side was, per reports, an absolute mess. Primary reason being that Jerry Richardson was well known to give out jobs based on how much he liked people or how loya; they were to him regardless of whether they were actually qualified for the job or not. Still, he could have (and should have) put a competent football person in place to handle that side of things instead of leaving it to Marty Hurney.
-
Oh sure. Basically, David Tepper has been a terrible owner so far and needs to stay out of important football decisions. Also, the Panthers should hire Nathanial Hackett as their next head coach

Report: Harbaugh might be tempted to go back to NFL
Mr. Scot replied to SuperBowlBound's topic in Carolina Panthers
Not a lot given that Cam's benching over a tie was pretty stupid too. With that said, at least Rivera didn't do sh-t like that on a regular basis. -
Trade out of 6 or trade away a player instead?

Is Matt Rhule still in charge?
