Same. Always loved his reports on Sportscenter.

Don't think that was deliberate on McKissic's part, but it did kinda work out that way.
-
Meaning that I feel like even if Darnold wasn't here, Rhule still wouldn't want Newton.

Can we talk about Fitterer and the off-season so far
Mr. Scot replied to mc52beast's topic in Carolina Panthers
Ellis actually got a little info from Jon Alexander on what's different. The official organizational structure hasn't changed, but Rhule is choosing to (or perhaps having to) listen to the other voices in the room more so than last year. So while last season it was "What I say goes", this year it's more "Here's what I think, so what do you guys think? -
Quite a day here... We've got more news than we've got front page
-
I'm pretty good with it so far. As always though, we'll see what happens when the bullets start flying.
-
Kudos to this guy...

I'm one of them. -
I might end up reviving my old "Big Ugly" signature once the lineup is set

Rhule had full control last season. Lots of people with connections are questioning whether he still does -
Meanwhile, in the real world... So on top of everything else, they're agreeing to protect his salary even if he's suspended. Sheesh
-
You get that everybody knows you're full of sh-t on this stuff, right?
-
I don't necessarily think Rhule prefers Darnold at this point as much as he just doesn't prefer Cam.
-
Not as far as I know. He basically just hadn't signed the paperwork yet.
-
Wait! It's still not official yet!
-
McKissic hadn't received an offer from Washington. The Bills made him one and he agreed to it. Then Washington ponied up and offered him the same deal. He chose to stay with them. That's why the Bills are pissed.

Johnny Hekker to Carolina per Schefter

Improved ST Coordinator too... -
He'd told them they were. They came back with a better, fully guaranteed offer.
-
People have been lauding Andrew Berry for the job he's done over the past few seasons. This deal? Not so much.
-
But wait... It's not officially official until he actually suits up! Hell, he could have the contract in front of him and pen in hand and say "Ya know what? I changed my mind"

Panthers NOT signing another safety? Or just not Tyrann Mathieu...
Mr. Scot replied to SgtJoo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Is Woods a strong safety or a free safety though? (I hadn't checked) -
That's what he's hoping for...

I'd say Morgan is the difference. Fitterer has loads of experience in college scouting but has only somewhat dabbled in scouting free agents (Trent Kirchner was the guy in charge of that back in Seattle). On the flip side, Morgan cut his teeth doing pro scouting. It's where his experience is and it's what he's known for. I've said it before but it's worth repeating: The two of them could make a fantastic combo. -
I'd say Wilson and Ioannidis run counter to that idea.
