  1. I personally like the idea of Tepper selling the Panthers and buying the Dolphins from Stephen Ross. That way he can stay in Florida all the time and be far away from us.
  2. Sizzlebuzz will be along shortly to explain how The Horsesh-t Way will make it all better.
  3. I'm not following the soccer side of things but I have heard some people allude to that.
  4. If you think this team is an attractive free agent destination, I have a feeling in a week or so you might be disappointed. It's been repeated numerous times that people all around the league look at us and see a lame duck in the head coaching spot. Nobody's going to have positive feelings about that.
  5. Wilson is actually a really good reporter, but I've been getting a weird vibe from him over the last year or so. Since he got fired from The Houston Chronicle, he seems a little different. He floated around independently for a while before latching on to Pro Football Network. Found that kind of strange given his reputation. Add in that recently I had a chance to hear him on a radio interview and something just sounded...off. Felt almost like he'd been drinking or something. It was just weird. But yeah, all that stuff aside he's generally been very reliable source. I just don't know if there's something going on with him in his personal life.
  6. Most players aren't "free" yet, but we've had multiple assistant coaches leave for lateral positions and at least one assistant coach say he didn't want to interview here. That doesn't exactly make us sound like a mecca.
  7. I don't think there's any way you get the Texans to agree to something like that.
  8. He kept a sh-tty GM. He praised that sh-tty GM as one of the best talent evaluators in the league. He fired an underperforming head coach when he should have fired the GM first. Then he let the sh-tty GM lead the search for our next head coach. Unsurprisingly, sh-tty GM found a sh-tty college coach. Tepper stupidly hired that head coach, but didn't stop there. (but wait...theres more) First, he gave Rhule a ridiculous contract that pays him as much as the Rams pay Sean McVay. Then, even worse, he gave him full control. Two years later, when it became obvious to pretty much everybody except Tepper that the head coach he gave the ridiculous contract and full power to was woefully underqualified, Tepper still decided to give him another year. Now he's looking at trading crazy assets away from a rebuilding team in order to get a quarterback who's in a load of legal trouble. And the most fun part of it all, he actually still seems to believe he's smart. Oy So to sum it all up, yes he's a football dumbass. Honestly, dumbass might not even be a strong enough word.
  9. Yeah, not a fan of that. I've said before I think Tepper believes he can just "big ball" his way to a championship team then turn around and tell everyone to bow down to his superiority. And that might work, except that when it comes to football he's a total dumbass. As far as Watson, if it does turn into a bidding war I don't really see us being in any position to win it.
  10. Pretty sure he doesn't have one. There's a guy named David Tepper who gets messages aimed at the Panthers owner pretty frequently, but it's not him.
  11. Bills cut an OL too (Jon Feliciano)
  12. Probably just a low level internship type thing. They actually lost one of Rhule's Baylor guys to the Vikes just a short time ago. (staff defection number six...I think)
  13. A lot of athletes think they're untouchable. (unfortunate choice of words here, I know) They've grown up being catered to, shielded from consequences and treated like gods because they can play a game. It leaves a great many of them believing that the rules of society only apply to other people. Hence, why they pull stupid sh-t like this...
  14. Aaron Wilson has the story, and he's a good source. We're not the first to do this, by the way. The Eagles did it last year during the season. All that said... Pretty much.
  15. Unless your fetish specifically involves women who aren't willing and need to be "convinced". Many types of sexual victimization take the form of a power trip.
  16. That's a .33 winning season rate. Rhule's is currently zero. To put it another way, three winning seasons is there more than Matt Rhule has.
  17. Richardson was trying to keep Marty as "interim" GM so that he didn't have to interview anyone else. The Fritz Pollard Alliance called bullsh-t, so we went overboard and interviewed three guys. That was such a farce.
  18. Mayhew was one of the guys we interviewed to satisfy the Rooney Rule before reinstalling Hurney.
  19. I've heard Willis compared to Cam Newton, Justin Fields and Russell Wilson. All three were significantly better college players than Willis.
  20. I could go for that. Is he versatile?
