  1. Pretty sure Chuck's been booted for spouting racist stuff before. Would that be just trolling?
  2. Dan Campbell would have jumped in and thrown a few punches of his own.
  3. So if Bob Kraft were to hit his wife does that mean domestic violence becomes okay too? This is an incredibly stupid argument.
  4. Thought maybe "Dabo" but wrong college. "Don't beat ourselves" (from Icege, above) seems like the most logical explanation.
  5. Uh, yeah. Nobody's done anything even remotely like that. For the record though, most NFL players find a good massage therapist and stick with them. They don't try to find a different one every week.
  6. He changed it to DOB in another tweet. Date of Birth?
  7. I'm pretty sure you haven't read a single word of the actual story.
  8. Guys who have been in the football business for decades taking advice from someone who's never done anything close to what they're doing? Yeah, sure
  9. Scott was exactly what you'd want in a backup last year.
  10. In the loop? Yeah. Giving input on personnel decisions? No. And that's per Rhule, Fitterer and others.
  11. Yeah, it's...not at all like you're imagining it. The women involved are licensed massage therapists, not Instagram models. To a woman, they tell pretty much the same story of unwanted advances. But two (and I think maybe now three) have accused Watson of forcing oral sex. If you want to get a genuine understanding of the story, I'd recommend this article from Sports Illustrated. It gives you a pretty good summary of things.

  13. To clarify, this story's actually from PFT (Florio) not PFF (Pro Football Focus).
  14. Will be interesting to see if Horn draws flags.
  15. I was kinda pulling for Stokke. Middleton is a name I've heard before but I'd need to look him up to refresh my memory.
  16. Pretty much. We've seen so many "David Tepper will do this", "David Tepper will do that", "David Tepper will pay any price", "David Tepper will move any mountain", etc. etc. type ramblings that we could probably start a Chuck Norris style website called davetepperfacts.com (and be equally true to life as the Norris one) Yet in reality Rhule, Fitterer, Gantt and even Tepper himself have confirmed that he doesn't influence personnel decisions at all. His only input is on the processes used. And if you needed further proof, you saw it play out that way at the Draft on Panthers Confidential as well. That's why at this point, any suggestion that starts with "well, David Tepper" is one that I automatically discount as sheer (and uninformed) speculation.
  17. Went from having Joe Brady as an OC back to Scott Turner... That doesn't say "positive results" to me.
  18. Because when it comes to football, David Tepper is actually the dumbest guy in the room. Not only is he not more football savvy than Matt Rhule and Scott Fitterer; he also ranks behind Dan Morgan, Pat Stewart, Matt Allen, Samir Suleiman, pretty much anyone else in the front office and also every member of the coaching staff. Buying a football team does not make you a football genius any more than buying a computer makes you a programmer. Tepper becoming a hands-on owner is the last thing the Panthers need.
  19. Eeehhh, sounds like the same old "David Tepper wants him" speculation we've heard a hundred times before. "Committed to finding a quarterback", "could be inclined", maybe this, maybe that, shampoo, rinse, repeat. I'd add that "League source" is pretty frequently someone's agent, and isn't likely within the Panthers organization or it probably would have said so.
  20. Well, after seeing him say that he doesn't care if a guy abuses women as long as he's good at football, I'm pretty sure he's not smart enough to have hurt feelings.
  21. Going by the colors and the species, I'm gonna say Eagles. And to be fair, you can't rightly expect a bird to cheer for cats
  22. Given your track record, I can't really say that worries me
  23. I know that phrase quite well Equally familiar with "bird on the head", "bird on the shoulder", "bird chewing holes in my shirt" and several others.
  24. I'm guessing several would nominate Alice for that particular...honor. Probably need some clarification though. Guys like Alice, Real Deal and some of our resident Falcon fans are deliberate trolls. On the flipside, you've got guys that are just plain stupid. Does being a dumbass really qualify as trolling?
