  1. First Hall of Famer announced on NFL honors,Charles Woodson.
  2. According to what I read from Ian Rapoport (I think) the talks have actually been going on for about a week but word hadn't got out before now.
  3. I just share what I see, dude.
  4. Someone actually made a good point on Twitter. If a GM who wants him anonymously puts out there that the price is two first rounders when in reality just a first rounder and some change,, he winds up looking smart. No, that wouldn't be us.
  5. I think we've thrown enough money at injured players we hoped would be healthy again already. That's a practice I'd like to see gone with Marty.
  6. The one single thing that Panther fans and Saint fans can agree on...
  7. Probably... except Wentz. That one never really had any traction.
  8. He doesn't claim to know... ...but he's right.
  9. Somebody decided the asking price was too high. Bears? Colts?
  10. I'm not sure what you're trying to say
  11. A lot of them. Remember, the Texans moved quickly on Nick Caserio because his agent told Cal McNair we were on the verge of throwing the bank at him. It was bullsh-t, but all that mattered was McNair believed it.
  12. It's not exactly high on my list of "things I want to see" either. I acknowledge it's a possibility though.
  13. There's a tweet from the NFL Rumors and Updates account that says the Steelers and Panthers are interested in Trubisky. That site I don't take seriously. Josh Klein I take seriously.
  14. I'm sure this'll be a very positive and productive discussion
  15. How exactly do you want to "hold fans accountable"? And the resolution of the trade had nothing to do with anyone's wishes (except those of the Lions).
  16. Ugh. Hate stories like this. Reid's family has an unfortunate history of trouble.
  17. Here's how I understand the logic behind it... Brees knows he's not going to get paid either way because he's retiring, so his salary being on the books only affects the Saints negatively with no benefit.. To fix this, he reduces his salary to league minimum. The Saints can't get entirely away from his contract, but this does a lot to lessen the impact of it. It's a "team player" sort of thing, and the Saints can definitely use the cap relief.
  18. Worth remembering that analysts characterized this as "an aggressive offer".
