  1. Is that all you've got or are you googling more articles to try to find criticisms of Reich?
  2. Side Note: I don't really play fantasy football. Anybody else's league got rules like this?
  3. Starting to sound like the players absolutely hated McDaniels
  4. Patriots writer for the Boston Herald thinks the story's got legs...
  5. Understood. I expect there's usually more than one choice.
  6. Based on what I see, I'm going to guess it's showing everywhere. They just didn't create a second map because it's the only late game CBS has. Fox has a second map because there are two late game choices. You could interpret it as being blacked out, but I don't think so. Given the markets that it does show up in, that'd be some odd choices.
  7. I like to think that if he were healthy this year, flip-flopping he and Ekwonu could have been an option. He fits the typical West Coast LT mold way better than Ickey would.
  8. Pretty much. It's what he was hired to do, and it's consistent with his qualifications. Had Reich had just wanted a rubber stamp guy, he could easily have hired somebody a lot less qualified than Thomas Brown.
  9. That wouldn't surprise me at all. I don't think he's been healthy all year.
  10. That's pretty standard procedure for playbook writing. It's really only hard to understand if you're pushing an agenda (like trying to blame Reich for everything).
  11. Not exactly play calling, but a wrinkle added... Gotta confess I didn't notice.
  12. Somewhat related, didn't see it posted anywhere...
  13. That's not an easy thing to do in what's primarily a West Coast based scheme. For what we've got at the moment, Moton seems capable of handling it. Corbett can do it also given that he came from a similar offense with the Rams. It's from the center to the left where we have questions. I do think Bozeman can do it (FJ disagrees with me there) and I think could probably handle it if he were at the left guard spot rather than left tackle. Unfortunately, that leaves us needing a left tackle again. Could they conceivably switch up this game though? It might be in limiting the playbook somewhat, but it's possible. Difficult, but possible.
  14. I honestly didn't see a huge difference in the playcalling. What I think did make a difference last game were some of the personnel choices. Specifically, Blackshear being active, Tremble playing instead of Ian Thomas, and of course Chuba Hubbard being the primary runningback. If Frank has an issue, I don't think it's necessarily playcalling. It more likely might be depth chart evaluation and arrangement.
  15. Looked, but I can't find confirmation of this anywhere. Most recent thing I found is this...
  16. I might not have been until this past week when he got Corbett back on his flank. Still need to tune that left side though.
  17. Potential bad news for Ron Rivera et al, courtesy of the always reliable and certainly never just making sh-t up Mike Florio... I suppose it's possible. There's definitely speculation that the Patriots and Belichick could be headed for a divorce. For what it's worth, all indications so far are that Harris is going to be a very "hands on" owner in DC. Guess we'll see...
  18. Agreed, though I don't think a major overhaul is necessarily needed. if they move Ickey to guard and try to acquire a left tackle better suited for a WCO, that might be enough.
  19. We've had that discussion here, as well. And it's true on both sides of the ball. An example would be if your previous DC ran primarily zone concepts in the secondary but your new one uses man, you might have some who can do both but not all so there'll be some turnover. It's not necessarily that a guy is bad. He might just no longer fit what you want to run
