  1. Based on what I saw of him, I wouldn't characterize Corral as bad or anything of the sort. He didn't strike me as anything special, though.
  2. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Panthers were the only team to call St. Louis Thursday night to trade up. They didn’t have the ammo, but they still got their quarterback. Profootballtalk : Panthers take Jimmy Clausen off the board
  3. Don't see that as too likely. But even if it happens, no I won't be "back on board". Rhule is in over his head and a real NFL coach is needed.
  4. I share the distrust in Matt Rhule, but I have equal distrust in David Tepper. And besides, based on comments from Person, Albright and others, sounds like it's at least possible that Tepper is in favor of drafting Pickett.
  5. Including the guy who thought Matt Rhule was going to be such a great NFL head coach that he gave him a blockbuster contract?
  6. He's not worth paying attention to, dude. I mess with him occasionally but he's not someone to take seriously.
  7. Jacksonville beat us to it, but I can't complain because Boselli was a damn good tackle. And having Bruce Smith introduce him was hilarious. Someone joked that Smith tried to get around Boselli to leave the stage but he couldn't.
  8. Kinda surprised at this. Solari's known as a good coach. (I prefer Campen though)
  9. Hiring him to help their new DC learn his job. Smart.
  10. Mills introduction by teammate Rickey Jackson...
  11. Yeah, saw that. Similar thing happened to the Seahawks. They were set to hire Ed Donatell as their secondary coach when the Vikings got him as their DC.
  12. Fair question The guys with prior connections to Scott Fitterer might, and I didn't realize it till after taking a closer look but Bill Lazor has that too.
  13. Took a quick look at potential quarterback coaches that might be available (as a result of head coach firings) if they moved Ryan over to the receiver coach position. It's not a bad list at all - Bears offensive coordinator Bill Lazor - Bears quarterback coach John DeFilippo - Jaguars quarterback coach Brian Schottenheimer - Jaguars offensive coordinator / interim head coach Darrell Bevell - Broncos offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur - Raiders offensive coordinator Greg Olson Haven't run down all the connections, but obviously Darrell Bevell and Brian Schottenheimer would be known to Scott Fitterer from their time with the Seahawks.
  14. One other possibility that might be worth mentioning... Sean Ryan was actually the receivers coach in New York back when McAdoo was their OC. It's conceivable that the team could move Ryan over to that spot and hire a different quarterback coach. There are some decent ones available, and if they think that's a better setup than leaving Ryan over the quarterbacks and hiring someone like Henry, who knows?
  15. From what I understand, the Cowboys didn't fire Henry. His contract was up and they replaced him with Robert Prince. Henry was not only part of the Cowboys staff along with Ben McAdoo last year, he was also McAdoo's receiver coach when he was head coach of the Giants. I'd say the receiving corps in Dallas last year looked pretty good.
