  1. Not sure Lamar or Allen are that big of a hurdle. They both have their own postseason woes.
  2. fug the 49ers. Hope they get stomped.
  3. Not for reasons any of us would care about. We could lose for 50 years straight and that is just on the organization.
  4. Not many of the top teams have. Lots of bottom teams have.
  5. But he is also the classic story of getting a big second contract and then falling apart health wise. It's why you don't draft these guys highly. It's not a good value at all.
  6. Honestly, I think the amount of "less" we have given Evero is problematic. It was clear that unit got a lot worse in the offseason. Sunday it was clear on the field too.
  7. But you are making my point for me. There is no reason to expend a lot of contract money nor high draft capital when you can get a guy like that in the 3rd round and is on a second contract for 3 years and $18 mil.
  8. It's far rarer than the previous two decades. The first round RB's are becoming more and more rare. They don't have value because they have short careers and are injury prone. Hence why you see RB by committee, substantially less carries on average and fewer RB's getting big contracts after their rookie deals. If you are tying up a lot of money into a RB or expending a 1st round draft pick on a RB it's either an extreme need or your FO is just incompetent.
  9. Browns 1999-2017. Keep that in mind. I don't believe we will see a winning record until at least 2030. I am not joking. I am trying to find a sports book to give me good odds on that for a large wager.
  10. I couldn't believe we did that. Either move. Just completely insane.
  11. RB is one of the least valuable positions in the modern era NFL. The market and draft basically shows that year in and year out. The track record for mega-contracts over the last 10 years is horrifying. Same with first round RB's. It's not fans saying that, it's most of the 32 franchises in the NFL and their actions.
  12. The run defense and run offense was shockingly bad. The rushing offense may have been the biggest disappointment overall.
  13. There is no telling. I just know that someone who has a history of micromanagement as their style of mangement rarely ever changes, especially at his age. Now, that can also happen with someone in a new position but he has been an owner long enough that it should have changed already. It's just who he is.
  14. This assumes he is an NFL caliber QB. Show me the evidence for that. This is like blaming Ian Thomas for not panning out or Sam Darnold for being a huge bust. WTF do you want them to do? They just aren't NFL caliber players.
  15. Honestly, who really cares what he did or didn't do? Horn works out like a madman all offseason but he gets injured all the time. Kyler Murray played CoD all offseason but he's a top 15 paid QB. IDGAF. I care about winning and playing well. He isn't doing that, so I don't care if he worked 12 hours a day on fundamentals all offseason or spent every day at Carowinds.
  16. Bingo. Corporate mentality is a fuging cancer.
  17. Been preaching this for multiple years now. We are the new Browns. Literally every sign from that 1999-2017 run of misery is there. Worst part is that our 2018-2023 is actually worse than that era started our for them. Buckle your seat belts, boys. It's gonna be a rough remainder of this decade.
  18. I don't really like any of those picks other than Sanders. If we get two average or better starters in the group, it was a good draft. Otherwise.... woof.
  19. It's TBD but this offseason was less than stellar, IMO. The draft looked like a classic Fitterer draft. I don't expect it will turn out much different than the past two offseasons. It would be a pleasant and welcome surprise if it did end up being successful.
