  1. No doubt. I honestly started this thinking we would be in the bottom half of the NFL in this but was very surprised to see how high up this list we actually were. I think the thing is that our stretches of futility have been relatively short until now. But, we also rarely have ever had any appreciable stretches of winning. Still have never had back to back winning seasons(no one in the NFL can say that).
  2. Well, Jacksonville already has had a 9 year stretch. Houston has had a 7 and existed even less. Minnesota was completely shocking.
  3. We are at our franchise low but in comparison to the rest of the NFL's franchise lows......I mean....it is wild how low it can get. Eleven teams have had at least a decade long .500 or less stretch. That's over a third of the league.
  4. Minnesota - 3 Baltimore - 4 Dallas - 5 Pittsburgh - 5 Green Bay - 6 Kansas City - 6 Carolina - 7 Denver - 7 Houston - 7 Miami - 7 Tennessee - 7 Washington - 7 LA Chargers - 8 NY Giants - 8 San Francisco - 8 Seattle - 8 Buffalo - 9 Chicago - 9 Indianapolis - 9 Jacksonville - 9 New England - 9 Atlanta - 10 Detroit - 10 NY Jets - 11 Philadelphia - 11 Cleveland - 12 Arizona - 13 Las Vegas - 13 LA Rams - 13 Cincinnati - 14 Tampa Bay - 14 New Orleans - 20 Looked into this today and was pretty shocked to see how well we have done historically in comparison to the league as a whole. So, while this is definitively the worst stretch in franchise history, it could be a lot worse. The negative is, it could also get a lot worse. Either way, it was interesting to see some of these INSANE stretches of futility.
  5. I still predict it is unlikely we see an above .500 record before the 2030 NFL season. Hopefully I am wrong but we ended up digging a hole so deep that the franchise has never been in this position before. I just think that really is going to take a lot of time to recover from.
  6. Yep. It was a proud tradition. Maybe it will one day return again.
  7. Actually, they have reported on some drops. But, given that they have a monopoly on info, it's going to be almost impossible to see if that is a trend or just a blip.
  8. We are many years removed from that part of our history. It's retreating far enough in the rear view that our "historic" average is steadily getting fuged up as we move forward in time.
  9. I will be very pleased if we are consistently losing games due to kicking and not other issues. Frankly, I would be floored.
  10. The demographics aren't working in their favor at the moment. It could turn around but I very much doubt it.
  11. I think they are entering a period where they will start to pay for their sins.
  12. I mean, that would be wild considering we fired him.
  13. I don't need him reading a pre-prepared statement from his teenaged GF/caretaker.
  14. Yeah, when I was gathering the info, it really started to become obvious how incredibly bad we have actually been.
  15. We will see what the numbers end up looking like. 7 WR's means a lighter positional group somewhere.
  16. Meh. Bottom of roster churn. LB will be weak this season anyway. It just is what it is.
  17. If we don't find a guy between Wright and Fitzgerald, it will likely just be a parade of guys to figure something out. This happened before, so it's more of the same. Ideally we just try to ride Fitzgerald out and he eventually finds his groove.
  18. Listen, you can worship at the altar of Tepper if you wish but you will eventually come to see he is a false god. He is a scumbag. You don't become a multi-billionaire hedge fund manager without being a scumbag. If you ever had any access to people like this, you would know this without any shred of a doubt.
  19. He is a meddling idiot and has been a notorious asshole(far worse than Snyder in that regard). I mean, remember the episode of him literally intentionally mispronouncing Reich's last name to belittle him(something he did in his regular career). The early behind the scenes is already considerably worse than Snyder's early tenure(scumbag private business fortune, glorified fantasy sports owner). Now, it's quite the leap to end up where Snyder did ultimately. I don't have any doubts that he can hit that, as a guy that berates local business owners for signs and also gropes his wife on stage so everyone can see(people forget this for some reason). So, by all accounts he is a terrible owner and person. Doesn't mean he hasn't improved over Richardson in some regards, to be sure. But, as of yet, I haven't seen any discernable evidence that he is either a better person than Jerry and he has been a demonstrably worse football owner than Jerry.
  20. I think the last WR spot is going to come down to who can play special teams. Moore is a very good special teams guy, FWIW.
  21. This is far and away the worst stretch in franchise history and it did coincide with his ownership. The amount of anti-fan sentiment and moves by he and the franchise during his ownership are absolutely fuging bizarre. As you say, if anything they should be kissing our asses to get us to even participate. Ultimately, this is the downside of the insane TV deals. The owners don't have to truly care about asses in the seats.
  22. He really is just a completely unlikeable *****. The Snyder vibes are so strong.
  23. Pretty sure this has been beaten to death in another Parsons thread.
