Just go back and watch his snaps from the preseason with NE. He had PLENTY of zip and accuracy on his passes. He looked better in that regard than he has in years. Also he’s had another 2 months to heal up and refine his game even more. I really think BB and McDaniel had him work on his mechanics a lot. I really think he has a chance to be very successful in his second run here.

We should hold onto Cam until we can make a run at Arch Manning in 3 or 4 years.

He is just so much more mature and at peace overall. You can tell becoming a father and experiencing some struggles in his life has really given him clarity about what is important. Also I have been revisiting his play from the preseason this year and he was throwing some absolute DARTS. If his shoulder is good to go, then the rest of the NFC better look out! Still so freaking pumped about this move. I was 100% convinced that he would never even consider coming back and neither would the team. Never been so happy to be wrong in my life!

No but he will be assuming he plays decent the rest of this year. They tried to sign him for 2 years to begin with. Cam wanted multiple years, so they settled on 1 to get things started. If everything works out he will be back for sure.

Nah, if Cam is Cam the rest of this season they’re absolutely going to ink him to a 3 or 4 year deal. I don’t see us drafting a QB high in this next draft of Cam shows he’s still a franchise QB. That will go a long way to us being able to fix the o line and really make a run in the NFC over the next few years. Defense is already there. QB and o line are the only glaring weaknesses on this team. If Cam fixes the QB problem, we go all in on o line in the draft and free agency and do the damn thing.

Jordan does, or at least used to live in that same building. I used to work in the BB&T building uptown that’s right next door. You could pick Jordan’s WiFi network from the parking deck sometimes. Exactly!!! The man is only 32 years old. That is right in the prime for QBs. He’s had tons of time to work out, heal, and refine his game. I honestly expect him to come out and kick some ass.
