Well he’s backing up Sam Darnold….so, yeah. I could see the trepidation if he was in line to be our starter, but he’s proven himself to be a capable backup. He can come in an win you a ballgame.

Darnold is not “hot garbage”. Stop with this poo! He had 1 bad season, last year when his entire team was tanking. The previous 2 seasons were not that bad at all and he showed good progress from year 1 to 2. Let’s give him some time and see how he performs with a much better cast and coaches.

If anybody is interested, I just signed up for DirecTV, due to the fact that they are offering really good deals on their packages and free Sunday Ticket for this season. I got their 2nd to the top package, a full home DVR, 2 boxes and a year of HBO for free, and my bill each month is going to be 109.24. Cheaper than my Spectrum bill here in Texas for a lot worse service. Just a friendly Public Service Announcement.

All that new O-Line for the Jets and word out of their camp is that Wilson is getting sacked like crazy when they scrimmage. Probably has a lot to do with how green Wilson is, but still does not bode well for their chances against us.

We definitely should not lose this game. We will probably be a 5 to 7 point favorite.

Our offense should be deadly this year. 3 legit WR weapons in Moore, Anderson and Marshall. Then you have the best all around back in the NFL in CMC. Add a legit seam/field stretcher guy at TE in Arnold and we should be downright unstoppable if Sam can just be accurate and decisive with his throws. Im very, very excited about the potential of this team. Most of the nation media has no idea what they are talking about when it comes to this years Panthers team. Both offense and defense have the potential to be special.

I literally have not heard one single source saying "Darnold has struggled mightily in camp". This is the first time I have seen that anywhere. Very strange and David Newton is a poo journalist.

The NFL needs to invest in being able to just subscribe to individual teams game packages. I would be all for paying 100 bucks or something just to be able to watch all the Panthers games outside of NC.

You can get Sunday Ticket for free every year if you're a current DTV subscriber. Just call them and ask. On that note, I just moved to Texas and have the DTV page open in another tab, getting ready to pull the trigger on installation. I have never had much luck with random streaming sites in the past, and I prefer to watch the games on my TV versus a phone or laptop.

Hes an EDGE. I think Arizona originally used his as a legit OLB, covering TE's and poo like that. He was not very good at that job. Once they put him strictly rushing the passer, he had a breakout year. I imagine we will use him in the same mold that AZ used him last year. Pin his ears back and get after the QB every single play.

Darnolds career high for INTs was 15....and that was his rookie year.
