  1. It's so rare that I contribute anything useful to the huddle I thought it would be OK. I'll leave the menu threads to Dex from now on though
  2. Along with jalapeno poppers I'm going with wings, coleslaw and Guinness.
  3. I actually looked to see if you had started a thread like this first. Hey, you snooze you lose buddy lol
  4. I'm gonna try these out, bacon wrapped pimento cheese jalapeno poppers. Not sure what else, still deciding. What is everyone else doing?
  5. I don't vilify people that break the rules of an unjust system. If everyone in history followed the "well it's the rules, so just follow them even if they're wrong" we'd have no rights or personal freedom.
  6. It's so stupid that guys careers get ruined over this. So many players do it and nobody in the NFL really cares. The current policy isn't "don't smoke weed", it's "don't get caught" which is just retarded.
  7. i've been wearing the same pajama pants and tshirt for the last day and a half. no fugs given
  8. These idiots on ESPN were just talking about how even if he didn't do what he was accused of that it's still a good suspension and he shouldn't even appeal it.
  9. I worked at a grocery store and that was the policy. What are you basing your statements on because it sounds like you are you the one that's full of poo
  10. I worked in a grocery store way back in the day. Employees are allowed to give free items to customers, just like bartenders can give out free drinks. It was common to give free items if there was any kind of complaint or issue. Employees were given quite a bit of leeway with this and could basically give out free items whenever they felt like it. The policy was that it's better to take a small loss and keep the customer happy and coming back. This never even happened, but if an employee went crazy giving out free stuff all the time it would have been an internal discipline type thing. Management would probably just tell them to slow down giving out so much stuff, it wouldn't be looked at as theft or a criminal issue.
  11. DGB, KB and Olsen would be a hell of a trio. If the interior OLine and Remmers continue to play well like they did at the end of the season, and Oher comes in and locks down the LT spot then that'd be a hell of a offense. Possibly top 5 (someone just needs to kidnap Shula).
  12. I've met numerous people in Charlotte that were born and raised in NC and were Steelers, Ravens, Cowboys and 49er fans.
  13. the coca cola museum was huge and went through everything but didn't even mention the time when it was made with actual cocaine. i was pretty dissapointed
  14. there's a nice aquarium though, so there's that
  15. i'd rather be homeless in a nice city than rich and live in atlanta
  16. Luke looks like the biggest dork BTW. I'd bet money he plays Dungeons and Dragons and has a stamp collection.
  17. I think you mean Luke is getting traded to the Cardinals.
  18. I'd LOVE to have this guy. I suspect he'd just be for depth but the leadership he adds would be tremendous, not to mention he's one of the best overall human beings in the NFL.
  19. He kinda does look like Kevin Costner.
  20. If they're looking to move up into the 16-20 range, the middle of that range (pick 18) has a value of $900, while the Panthers first (#25) and 3rd (#89) add up to $865 in value. That's only a 4% discount based on the trade value chart which is just a general guideline. Given that this draft is weak on top prospects and many teams will be eyeing a trade down it's more than fair. It would be a bigger discount for the team at 16 obviously but teams generally have what they're willing to give up, call the top team in a given range and if turned down just keep trying until someone accepts their offer (so long as their guy is still on the board of course).
  21. Wrong as usual. http://www.draftcountdown.com/features/Value-Chart.php
  22. The cost to move up would be a 3rd rounder most likely, not too bad really.
  23. Nobody is moving up for this OT group that lacks an elite prospect and is full of guys projected at RT and guard. I can see the Panthers moving up in that 16-19 range though if one of the top 3 WRs falls there.
