Walker is a pass rusher with freaky athleticism and upside. This ain't a Hurney prospect ILB.

This, 100%. We are talent deficient everywhere. We are not a QB away, yet people want us drafting like we are. We are going to run into the same situation as Bryce where we throw a kid to the wolves. This offense is far from a finished product. I'd like to see us add another receiver and continue the development of XL and Coker. We need a new center (Corbett's health isn't reliable enough). We also need competition at the tackle spots and additional depth at guard. And as far as the Defense is concerned, they are extremely mediocre and we need help everywhere, particularly on the defensive front. Let's address these holes, let Bryce continue to play out his rookie deal, and see where we are in 2026. I also wouldn't mind taking a late round flyer on one of the Will Howard/Kyle McCord's of the world to see if we can find a diamond in the rough. I doubt it, but spending a pick that late and it not hitting is far less detrimental than an early miss.

I'll say it again for those in the back: TANKING IS NOT A LEGITIMATE WINNING STRATEGY AND DOESN'T GUARANTEE DRAFT SUCCESS. IT ALSO COSTS GMs AND COACHES THEIR JOBS AND THEY LIKE GETTING PAID MILLIONS PER YEAR.

Ewers melts down against competent defenses. Shadeur plays nobodies and has average arm strength and Ward takes insane gambles with the football. Out of the three, I’d probably go with Shadeur, but daddy ain’t letting him come here. He’ll pull the Eli bull****.
-
For those who want us to tank: Who in this draft has franchise QB tendencies and skills that will translate to the next level? I honestly don’t see a single player with franchise QB characteristics. I’m still not sold on Bryce long term, but we have needs all over in order to set the next young QB up for success.

Needed a play and Bryce made it.

Now that was a bad throw.

Our Dline without D Brown is an abomination. Tuttle was manhandled.

Listen I’m not a Bryce apologist by any means. But Mays was walked back into his lap and Coker should have caught that. Some of you are just hating at this point haha

This is the right outlook. He's going to be rusty and out of football shape. It will require a few weeks minimum for him to get back up to speed. Also, TWSS

Should be a lock. Best LB of his generation and one of the best players in the league from the moment he stepped on the field as a rookie. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/41963708/eli-manning-terrell-suggs-luke-kuechly-advance-next-stage-hall-fame-voting

Drafting will be key to this rebuild. FAs (as we've already seen) have to be massively overpaid to be convinced to come here. Therefore, stacking draft capital and making good picks is paramount. So far, I've yet to see any standouts from this last draft. So not sure what Morgan's long-term potential as a drafting GM is. Hopefully he took away literally nothing from his previous boss, or this purgatory may last a generation.

The dropoff from Chuba to Miles Sanders is insane. Really hope Brooks can get healthy and up to speed, because Miles remains a liability in the run game.

Robert Hunt to Panthers fans at home next week

Dude is an absolute DAWG. It was a thing of beauty watching him maul that Raiders LB. Great signing. -
Eh, I wouldn't be so sure. Dalton is mega-ass (versus Bryce being ultra-ass) and this does little to improve our outlook for the season. But he can occasionally complete a pass, so at least it's something.
-
Had to be done. Trade him and see if we can get any assets. This will break him mentally and he’ll need a fresh start anyway.

Cannot keep doing a revolving door at HC and GM or we’ll never escape this purgatory. Have to give Canales and Morgan time to see if they can develop talent and build a roster. That said, Bryce hasn’t shown any signs that he can develop to be a franchise QB. They need to address the QB position in the draft, since it appears they are barreling towards the #1 pick.

Plummer should not spend an additional moment on the roster. Horrifically bad…

The Carolina Panthers are hurtling towards threats of relocation

I love this organization and this team has meant a lot to me since I was a kid. My first game was in Death Valley in the inagural season. That said, I can't blame the city at all if they tell Tepper to kick rocks. My fandom wouldn't follow them, either. Once the they leave the Carolinas, fug em, as far as I'm concerned. Truly hope it doesn't come to that. -
CBS Sports’ way too early 2025 mock has Carolina ….taking a QB

Sanders and Cam ain't even in the same galaxy. Sanders will have to have a Jayden Daniels-type breakout to go #1. With the team Colorado is trotting out there, I don't see it. The thing he does have going for him is the Big XII next year is not the SEC, but even with that fact, I don't see a nearly 5000 all purpose yard season and Hesiman win in the cards. -
The issue is that there aren’t any elite QB prospects next year. I think his leash is longer than a lot of fans realize…
