  1. Damn you weren’t kidding about being drunk in the morning. Hope you got an uber taking you home and maybe an IV coming for the incoming hangover.
  2. Nah he’s not, he’s been coming to this board since at least 2008 if not before, usually right before and after Packers matchups since that’s his team
  3. I think we are agreeing aren’t we?
  4. See it for what it is, a guy that’s had 3 fantastic games. We don’t have a need to rush to resign him to a big deal now based on that, especially when there are more pressing issues in our roster. He’s already getting banged up on top of that and will be 28 at the start of the next season. As far as the other guys at the top, Mccaffrey is the only one of those guys drafted in the first. Taylor is the only other one in the list that I’d say the offense is built around on a good team. But the bills are still a playoff team without cook, and achane while a good player is someone who gets volume touches on a bad team.
  5. Rico didn’t have any injury issue heading into that game, that was a stubborn decision by Dave to not let Chuba lose his starting job to injury. He said before the Green Bay game that was changing. Not sure if Bryce was fit to play or not.
  6. Yes. He’s playing extremely well now, but not something I see as sustainable and not worth locking up serious money into when younger/cheaper options and can be found pretty easily.
  7. Pretty often? JK Dobbins is 4th in the NFL in rushing this year and he wasn't even signed until June for next to nothing. That's three out of the top 5 in the league today. All of the top 7 were outside of the first round.
  8. Love is good enough to win. It would help if he had a true #1 WR. You guys made the right to move on from Rodgers. Rodgers doesn’t have a great winning percentage in the playoffs either.
  9. We aren’t good enough to play the load management game. If he’s healthy enough to play, then he should play.
  10. Likewise. It’s been a bad team to watch for most of the last 6 years, so it’s hard to spend too much time here. Your team is still good. They seem to play up or down to their competition. Hopefully this gets them focused and realizing that a C- effort can get them beat by anybody.
  11. Weird take when Rico was literally an undrafted FA and we signed him for peanuts because his former team didn’t value him. The guy they replaced him with they also signed for peanuts and he’s 5th in the league in rushing and 3rd in TDs.
  12. Joe burrow? Or is this a technicality because he’s hurt?
  13. Might wanna edit your post https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/2025/01/13/rams-vikings-live-score-updates-nfl-playoffs/77665954007/
  14. His best season before this year by almost every metric was Daboll’s first season (including his only playoff appearance and win). He is going to obliterate those numbers this year of course if he stays healthy.
  15. Props for the correct spelling of the Falcons starting QB's name, although adding Junior to the end of the name would make it even better
  16. I will never understand with how we've seen things play out over the years that there is a such thing as we KNOW such and such player will be great before they've taken a snap. Kyle Pitts came into the league with more hype than any TE prospect I can remember going 4th overall (thanks Falcons for drafting him one pick before Jamarr Chase). Eric Ebron and TJ Hockenson are two others that come to mind. Bowers had a historically great rookie year, but the knock on him was staying healthy and so far this year that's been a huge issue. Warren wasn't even the first TE drafted in this year's class.
  17. I already got to work before the segment started, but they said this came up as a result of what was floating around social media. Direct rip of a huddle topic essentially
  18. It’s going to feel like a home game for the bills. There are so many of their fans that live down here now, and many of them have never seen Allen play in person since their last visit was 8 years ago. It didn’t matter for the cowboys game, but it might here. I think we likely lose a close one. Probably a questionable flag or two that doesn’t go our way. X factor for Buffalo will be Kincaid and Knox. If we do win it’s because we get ahead and play keep away from Allen. FYI- I have many friends who are Bills fans that are fed up with Beane who we all revere and think is the one that got away. They feel like he was great to land Josh but has done a terrible job of building around him (especially at WR) and rely on him to become super man to win- sounds kind of familiar, like the last time we had a franchise QB.
  19. Exactly! Linsanity was about 2 weeks also.
  20. My friends that are jets fans remember him fondly in the sense that he had a Linsanity type of run for a very short period of time, and they all preferred him to Zach Wilson. But he was extremely injury prone and once defenses got tape on him it ended badly.
  21. I think we all talk ourselves into a worst case scenario with everything we’ve seen. But sometimes it’s overdone - I equate this to when people worried that we wouldn’t be able to sign any meaningful FAs or Cam to a second contract because of Jerry Richardsons pie chart drawing that insulted players or that halfway during Kelvin Benjamin’s rookie year we had people worried about how we would extend/resign him in 3 years with how much money we had tied up in the defense. Panic moves are what got us into most of this mess, no sense in doing that again.
  22. And we are only halfway through this season and have 7 months until we have to make the decision. So much will change between now and the end of the season both with the panthers and with the rest of the league.
  23. I agree with all of this. I would hope we don’t have to see him in a meaningful game, but it would be better than Jack Plummer.
