I wanted a young offensive minded person to be the Panthers next head and will be very happy if they hire Dave Canales. I want a coach that will find success with the Panthers for a long time, so they will be able to build a system that enable them to become better year after year..

Number one, I want us to get an offensive mined HC, someone like Ben Johnson would be ideal. Number two, I would like to get the OL improved to the point it can protect QB Bryce Young and open holes for what I hope will be and improved running game.

I just hope the new cap management person is a genius who will be able to work out deals that gets the Panthers headed in the right direction.

I will stand pat until I see what direction the team is heading. Hopefully it will be full speed ahead.

I am not sure rating Bryce Young, an inexperienced Rookie QB, the worst QB we've had in the last few years really fair. However, I fully agree a team should build a competent OL and obtain good skill position players before they shoot the moon for a starting QB.

That has been the history of the Carolina Panthers since day one and the reason they are currently a laughing stock and the worst team in the N.F.L..

If the UFL gets a team in the Carolinas I will probably watch.

I don't want to take anything away from what C.J. Stroud and Houston have achieved this year but I want to wait and see what they do next year before saying they overachieved in 2023. or were just flat out that good.

Hire the best General Manager money could buy, let him select the best Coaches and Scouting Firms money could buy, then step back and let him prove he was worth the money. If this approach didn't work the first time I tried it, I would fire the General Manager and repeat the same plan until it did.
