My personal humble opinion is the Panthers really have to go offensive with our picks. CB is a need. We have a lot of needs including Edge, but this team has to go offense at the skill positions in this draft, we have waited too long to do it Even if that pick is Mayer at 9 the offense is much better. This draft lacks star talent and Mayer is a difference maker. QB is obviously the target but offensively we need more talent

Prediction…Anthony Richardson will not be picked in the top 50 of this draft. If we pick him we are fuggin doomed. I just don’t see any way a team gambling on this guy at QB.

LOL…CJ is definitely in the mix to go #1. Probably happens. If Richardson goes before the top 3 I will be amazed. I don’t think he is picked in round 1.

Naw, Bijan has crazy talent. You can’t knock him there, dude has special talent no doubt. Can catch, block but his vision and cutting ability are off the charts.

Bijan brings back memories of Edgerrin James IMO…damn if he is that dude watch out…

As to the OP…when you get past the 15 pick in the first in this draft you are already seriously debating if there are better football players than Bijan available. Lots of questions in that range IMO. There does come a point where he makes a lot of sense for some teams

If these teams ahead of us are smart they don’t take back a bunch of picks in this draft from the Panthers to move down. This is a weak draft and if I am taking calls from the Panthers I want premium players or very high picks like 9, 40 or next years best picks in return

I don’t disagree. I think CMC and Barkley are the top 2 RBs in the league and both have lost significant time with injuries. RBs just don’t last. They take too much punishment. Paying them big contracts on their second deal is a huge risk that tends to bomb I would definitely say CMC had a serious impact on San Fran last season. They won like every game once he played until Philly.

I don’t think we can get the #1 pick. If I am Chicago I am not moving down to 9. Just not. If we moved up twice then possibly but that would cost like everything. We need a player to drop to 3 to give us a chance to move up.

The Panthers clearly sat him for long periods of time when he technically could have played. There was no reason to risk him when we were losing like that. CMC is a great player, one of the best offensive players but I can’t disagree we didn’t get his best here.
