    In terms of recent events I have seriously thought that the Hornets philosophy has been tied to Jordan and his involvement with personnel. The new owners should have stepped in and demanded that whatever decision he wanted to make we did the opposite. He has been that bad.

    Seriously though Lamelo Ball was an obvious pick and no brainer. Clearly the best left in that draft

    Scoot will win on the effort front. Forget it. That argument is over. He has heart and a dog mentality that can’t be taught. He might not shoot well but his mental approach is awesome. We passed and that will end up being a mistake. I said that ever since we got #2.

    He has zero basketball IQ. He has had time to develop whether it be through coaching or work but he isn’t going anywhere. It’s just street ball for him and that might not change

    I am very discouraged with Nick Smith so far. I think he has some game offensively and hasn’t played much ball the last year but damn he is nonexistent defensively and isn’t showing much as a distributor either

    Lets say this as well…I am really not sure we could even pick Scoot. We see Lamelo resigned but if Scoot was picked whose to say we wouldn’t be in a Lillard type situation. It’s possible. Miller needs to get busy soon though…this going through the motions shet won’t get it done in the NBA

    It is a serious concern but very early. I said it leading up to the draft, if he doesn’t get some competitive nature going he will be a role player. I have noticed these Warrior players are focused on him…probably cuz he was picked 2nd.

    Nick Smith is a smooth player but he needs to get under control. It’s like he has never seen a defensive drill in practice too. If Bouk can’t hit any shots he is not going to make it. He isn’t good at anything else Kai Jones has incredible athleticism but his basketball IQ is like zero. Wild

    Feels like Kup is much better at 2nd rounders. Weird. It is super early man but Miller playing very tentatively which was a serious worry of mine. He is very passive as a player for long stretches

    The Hornets need an on the court leader badly. I really don’t know who that vet is but Kup needs to find that guy. This team just needs to figure out how to win and the current coach isn’t that leader IMO The young talent here is very high level

    Lamelo is a superstar. We gotta get talented enough to get this guy in the playoffs. Will be so fun to see him on that stage.

    The fuggin people on this board. Lamelo is worth every cent of a max deal for this franchise. I find it amazing we were able to get him to resign here.

    Jay Williams always get a lighting quick channel turn for me. His takes are ultra annoying IMO
