  1. per Rap. No details yet. I'm sure it's minimal compensation but good riddance. From OTC, it appears this is cap changes: Cardinals pay remaining 690K 2022 base salary Dead Cap 2023: 9.7 mil hit 2023 Cap Savings: 12 mil savings
  2. Agree with T96. The roster is a pretty good unit with some young guys that could also become stars. The glaring problem is obviously QB. Fitterer deserves his lumps because he was involved in Sam and Baker deals. But I think he has built a roster that's worthy of having a shot with a real HC. I say let them both stay.
  3. We hardly win when he is on the field.
  4. Kamara won't be suspended until 2023 season at earliest. His legal team delayed , delayed, delayed so he can still play. Losing Gardner-Johnson is a pretty big loss but that defense is pretty stacked. The bigger question mark to me now is the offensive line. They don't have Armstead anymore and Andrus Peat is awful. No clue who is replacing Armstead either because their rookie tore his big toe ligament. Offense is talented at skill positions but I don't expect them to be a top 10 unit. They will live and die by their defense. I'd expect Carolina-NO to have a similar record at the end of the year.
  5. From John Ellis: Career numbers: Games: 21 XP: 36/39 FG: 31/36 Long: 53y 50+ y: 3/3 40-49 y: 6/10 30-39 y: 11/12 < 30 y: 11/11
  6. This might be the first time in history I've given you pie. But deserved. Completely agree.
  7. This makes the most sense with his history with Tabor. Hopefully he is solid.
  8. This doesn't matter at all. I'm sure this doesn't make any impact on his former teammmates in Cleveland. Baker feels slighted by the organization. This isn't Baker vs Myles Garrett. Garrett already said he has no problem with Baker. It won't give them any ammo. This is the fuging NFL. This guys don't need any extra motivation to play hard in a Week 1 game of a new season. But the reporter is probably going to be blackballed by players for running her mouth on something that was thought to be off the record (and she encouraged).
  9. I'm not here bashing Rhule on everything he's ever done or crying because he isn't fired. I wanted a chance to see our starters vs another team's starters. I'm not getting that. It's frustrating.
  10. The way Rhule decided to handle the preseason is frustrating to me and probably a lot of fans. We (and his staff) won't get the chance of watching starters v starters in a preseason game environment. If our starters struggle vs Buf backups, expect a poo storm in the media for 2 weeks. This is the worst case scenario (outside of an injury). I was really hoping to get a chance to evaluate our team against one of the best starting offensive/defensive units in the league. End rant.
  11. Where he is looking is irrelevant. His body is facing and running towards Robinson. If it was any lower, it would've been in the numbers and completely clean. The only thing that makes this a penalty, is it's a helmet shot. Still not a hit that should happen in a practice though even if it would've been legal.
  12. I didn't see your slow motion clip. He hit him in the head for sure. At the same time, Wilkerson is facing him. He didn't hit him from the back or side or anything. He went high. It's a 15 yard penalty in a game, maybe they toss him because the opponent was KO'd out?
  13. I see a hit that is completely unnecessary in practice. Especially in a joint practice that has been marred by fighting. It doesn't appear to be anything blatantly cheap. From the video, it's impossible to tell if it was even illegal. Maybe there was head/head contact? It's too shitty of a video to see. Anybody calling for him to be cut from this clip is over-reacting.
  14. The Corrall injury probably opened up an extra WR spot (assuming we only keep 2 QBs now) 1. Moore 2. Anderson 3. Higgins 4. TMJ 5. Smith 6. Zylstra (Special teams contributor as well) 7. Andre Roberts (but not really a WR)
  15. Wasting a lot of time on a guy that won't be on our roster in 2 weeks. It's pretty foolish.
  16. Fire Rhule the day before the draft. Let's get this party started!
  17. About time he talks to the media. Hope they ask him difficult questions and we can finally begin to feel hopeful with our future again.
  18. That's one of the reasons why he is hated. It's 100% relevant to the hate he is getting. Did you miss the part where I said this is Rock Hill's fault? They committed to a shitty deal. It's equally shitty that Tepper took advantage of a local communities tax $$$ so he can save some petty cash. But a contract is what it is, there isn't anything "illegal" with he is doing. But it's still unethical/immoral IMO. That's why billionaires become/stay billionaires. They take advantage of everything/everybody.
  19. Yes, fug all billionaires. Greed begets more greedy. 99% of them are awful people.
  20. He is getting the hate for 2 reasons: 1. His football team sucks 2. He is worth 16.3 billion and has taken advantage of idiot local politicians and a poor tax base. 250mil is absolutely nothing to him. Poor people should have never subsidized an office building for a dude worth 16 billion. But yes, this is Rock Hill's fault, 100%. Those politicians need to be voted out because this was always a horrendous decision on their part. but fug Tepper for being a shitty NFL owner. And fug him for taking advantage of a poor fan base. And fug him for not firing Matt Rhule.
  21. Agree with above poster, it was all about the money. He wanted guaranteed cash.
  22. Nah, he isn't overrated. He is absolutely a top 10 QB at 26 years old. And maybe even Top 5. Part 2 and 3, maybe.
  23. Already met with Saints again, last night. Saints are the only team he met with 2x. And the Saints owner was in the meeting this time. AND the saints cleared enough cap $$$ to sign him THIS MORNING. The sources are the beat reporters for Houston and Saints. This is legit info.
