  1. Some. I don't know that we can change a ton with only 6 weeks left. I do think more play action, boot action, RPO are easy to add and will help. Gotta try something because the same poo wasn't working.
  2. I think Fitt is all but gone. I don't see any chance he stays around. This is the way.
  3. I think the GM is getting fired anyway. And probably Suleiman with him. Agree that signing Brown outright is important but an extension doesn't HAVE to happen this offseason; just would make the most sense. I'd imagine Dan Morgan and Adrian Wilson will also go (but I'd be cool keeping both on staff).
  4. Brown extension, Luvu extension, and Burns is third priority. I hope that his value has dropped enough that we can make it work with Burns.
  5. First part yes. He has. Especially his pocket presence. Second part, absolutely not true. He made several of those throws this past game. Were you watching?
  6. Brown has earned the contract that Burns thought he deserved.
  7. Tepper is a smart man. He has proven that in his business success. I know that he wants the Panthers to win. I'm hopeful he re-evaluates his lack of success with Carolina and realizes his involvement is a contributing factor. Swallowing his ego and realizing Reich was a mistake and admitting it 11 weeks in is a sign. Firing Fitterer at the end of the year is the second step. Hiring a coach/GM search firm to assist is the next sign that he realizes that. He will never acknowledge his "meddling" to the public or media but those two things show that he is learning. We are stuck with him so I'm choosing to be optimistic that he will swallow his pride and get out of his own way.
  8. Duce getting cut because Miles Sanders hasn't done poo all year and we kept playing him. McCown has not coached up Bryce at all. Fundamentals have gotten worse. Too many voices. Caldwell wants to isolate all the messaging.
  9. Our fanbase is crazy. This happens every time an interim coach takes over. Nothing new here. But lets blame Bryce again.
  10. Tepper did not fire these guys. It was done by Tabor/Caldwell.
  11. This must have done by Tabor or Caldwell. Tepper isn't firing position coaches.
  12. 75% of snaps in the NFL are out of shotgun in the modern NFL.
  13. I think you are choosing to only see his faults and arguing wildly with anyone that does the opposite. He has faults but he also has strengths and I've pointed them out. But sure, just insult; No reason even attempting to have a rational football conversation with some you.
  14. I know we tried 1 double move deep shot yesterday and he was sacked within 2.5 seconds. Footwork has become a problem because of the pressures IMO, although he always has a slightly atypical throwing base. His arm strength isn't an asset for him but it's not a weakness. He can make every throw.
  15. Accuracy, anticipatory throws, scrambling. All things that he displayed this season and things he was drafted for. If you haven't seen any of that, you are choosing to ignore it. He makes good throws when he is given time. He has struggled under relentless pressure.
  16. Agree. But any coach will be convinced that his strategy with the Bryce will be successful or he wouldn't interview. By no means should the new coach be fired next season if Bryce still displays the same struggles.
  17. A MILLION percent agree. And pro personnel scouts too. Whiffed there too.
  18. What physical limitation has caused problems with Bryce this season? MAYBE one interception was due to lack of arm strength. It's mostly been developing bad decisions from constant pressure that his plagued his season. He has taken plenty of hits and shown he isn't too frail (but how many more?) He can throw across the middle of the field when given a little time. He can scramble for a first when the opening is available. A good coach can feel confident in solving that before it's turned into permanent David Carr behavior. He hasn't had a good season but all isn't lost for his future and coaches will want to be here.
  19. I don't think A) is relevant this year. He will be a HC next season. And yes, he will have other options. I only think one potential opening is significantly better than Carolina and that's the Chargers (and maybe Chicago because of draft capital). This is still an NFL head coaching opportunity. Plenty of talented coaches will be interested.
  20. I agree with everything you are saying. I also think it's impossible for anybody to properly evaluate Bryce and the coaches considering coming here will feel that same way.
  21. You guys are foolish; are you suggesting we hire a coach that isn't convinced Bryce is a good QB and can make him sucessful? Immediately setting yourself up for failure because we have no means to acquire another QB. The new guy has to be committed to making him successful and then evaluating once he's had a legit shot.
  22. We can all hope. At least he is one name that would re-unite the fan base.
  23. The only way you can eat a cow is one bite at a time. Gotta start somewhere. Fitterer needs to go so we can bring in some FA and draft picks that actually make a difference.
