I do think the college playoffs have often shown that many times. Clemson might of lost but over the last decade they sort of have made a habit of proving the SEC Ds are built different narrative is sort of a conference creation. Hell they went into a game with tiny Hunter Renfrow out wide at #1 because of injury and cooked the Bama D once. Cooked the hyped greatest Bama team of all time allegedly with a freshman WR/Freshman QB year.m another year. With no threat of rushing the ball, Texas should have held Clemson to virtually no offense yesterday. Guess they salty about that trend or something

I watched it the first time. What stood out for me is the same thing that stood out yesterday. Clemson can’t tackle humans running.

Allow less points. Result would have been the same most likely. So realistically, SC would have had 4 SEC losses on the year, could they of put an SEC in over SMU? Maybe. But it’s probably not yall. It’s Bama. And SC clearly doesn’t have the O to be a legit threat in a college football playoff this year. There is no great tragedy.

Watch Day get stupid

Random Cade Klubnik put up more pass yards than any team put up total yards on Texas all season today…and almost matched their season pass TD total allowed. That’s the best D in college football. Texas lucky Clemson played HS defense with it. all the teams have shown they are inconsistent this season. While these bottom barrel teams got no shot of stringing games together and actually competing for a natty….i still think any of these teams can get beat if they catch a team having a good day. No dawg had a had a good day yet but we saw it all season IMO. which is I guess what they want to happen with the 12 team format… some team that really isn’t top tier catching a good day and taking someone down. Hasn’t happened yet but there are still several left….and now potentially you get more wounded versions of teams going forward. Texas got beat up today for example. Really they are a top 4 team. Now they got to go against ASU beat up. Might catch more injuries there too. I think college football wanted moments and people getting beat by teams they shouldn’t is it. Just like 1 per playoff is what they want IMO

Think he got to win at least another game to start feeling safe. But feels like he coaching with more than just winning on his mind. Cade should be back. Think it would have taken a miracle run for him to leave. Wasn’t a huge fan but grew a lot this year. Got to like where he is right now.

Clemson D makes me long for Sundays and watching the much better Panther defense lol Cade Klubnik the best individual performance by anyone thus far in the CFP factoring in the D and handicaps. A shame Clemson wasted that. Oh well, they brought it back to a 7 point game at one point in the 4th. More entertaining than anything else thus far.

Entire defense has cost them….but he is right there with the run D. Just horrible defense. Cade got 300+ 3 TDs on them. That easily should be good enough QB performance to beat Texas. Fire that DC tonight. He has never been good. A good DC can fix that run D with ease with the bodies at Clemson. Hell a decent one can.

And just like that, Clemson not being able to play the run as good as even a middle school team can lol…. props to Cade Klubnik. He should return next year. Think he has proven to be good enough. Bad D performance likely is going to overshadow how good a game he has played today.
