We played horrible in reality vs the Rams…..outside of 5 plays that went absurdly our way. Rams went through us like a wet paper bag outside the turnovers. Bryce didn’t move the ball basically the entire game and hit two out of nowhere plays on 4th down.

You can replace our present day #1 with a better player for a cheap. Replace our #2 with a better player for cheap. You can replace our practice squad QB with a better guy for nothing. We don’t need a top 3 pick or do nothing. The best we can do isn’t some developmental add. Mac Jones was a 5 million add for the 49ers last offseason. So you are using the wrong time marker of getting QBs to rebuild the room. Trubisky I think was. 2 million. Both those dirt cheap options, to be backups, that are better players than 1 thru 3 on our roster lol. And we 100% can add a Bryce caliber QB this upcoming offseason for peanuts.

We need a new #1, #2 and #3 in Carolina. all picking up Bryce’s 5th does is delays us from addressing the QB room. Which is the most important room to address

Hunter Refrow in theory could potentially set a NFL record for most postseason yardage to a WR. I mean from a technical aspect, it exists as a possibility still in play. Bryce Young isn’t making a postseason run.

Yeah, that’s judging Bryce vs Bryce. Bryce should be judged vs other starting QBs. Dude right now is being outplayed by dudes like Tyler freaking Shough. Maybe by year 7 he will be that good….i mean, that’s what we are doing at this point.

I think Tom Brady and and a weak NFCS has made the GM look better of late than he likely deserves. Tampa has struck out a lot on defense the past several years in the draft and at some point that defensive roster and where it is today….is a GM issue too, not just a Bowles one.

I think elements are a mess there. Mainly their HC and front office. I don’t think Baker, Evans, Godwin, Egbuka, Irving, etc have quit. Baker was out there with broke down body throwing for 350 last week.

Disagree. Tampa got called out for the 2024 gameplan pretty loudly and publicly last time. In all honesty that’s the gameplan we want and need. Low scoring and ugly. Lets us do the same. Baker might be banged up but they got the weapons to put it on the pass game and make it about scoring….and carve up the middle of the field on us. Thats what we don’t want. If they go that route obviously we need the D to bend and get turnovers. But I expect this to be a Baker not Bucky game

When Parcell’s said Bryce better “walk on water”…..the implied concern wasn’t that the tiny QB could survive being hit. It was acknowledging he would have to be extremely special to overcome the handicaps he would face at this level. Which he isn’t and can’t. which isn’t just being hit. It’s being able to play in an NFL pocket and make NFL throws from it….and that ultimately is Bryce’s problem. He doesn’t play well from a NFL pocket and can’t make all the throws as needed. He can’t see as others can. Which impacts the throws he does and doesn’t take. It also impacts him bailing and killing plays and turning them into scrambles/dead plays

Seattle O and Rams O both had bad days against us. It’s likely the next time we would see either we would face a version having better days than last time. If either team has an actual good day (not great), they blow us out

QBs drafted in the top 2 rounds after 2023 Williams Maye Daniels Dart Shough IMO, all have put shown to have a higher ceiling than Bryce in the NFL and done so in a shorter window than he has had. So basically, we only would have screwed up drafting Penix or JJ and kept all of our assets. The trade up and cost of Bryce should rightfully go down as the worst move in franchise history.

I definitely wouldn't' say he is a franchise QB. but for a rookie QB, 8 starts into his career.......you gotta like what you are seeing from him. Because regardless of competition, he is playing at high level given the circumstances (rookie that came in on a bad team) I've been impressed by both Shough and Dart

Renfrow is a one of one. Said from the jump, his route running never fit Dave's O or Bryce. He wasn't a replacement for AT, who was basically a TE for Bryce. I don't think Dave had a clue what to do w/ Renfrow and was just inserting him into an AT type role. Renfrow is great at his Renfrow routes and moving chains. Even today. We saw all camp and folks like Horn documenting it. But Bryce can't see the area of the field well Renfrow runs his routes, nor is getting the ball out on time and accurately his specialty. But that's not Dave's offense either. I still think Renfrow just missed football and wanted to prove he could comeback....and wanted one year in his backyard childhood/team. But much like so much of the Panthers, yet another round peg and square hole situation. Just no fit for what he does well (which is super specialized)

Bryce can't throw an accurate ball to tiny Renfrow. Just use the big 3. Tmac/Coker/Tremayne. I assume Moore will replace Tremayne which is pointless.

Bryce gives backup caliber production behind the highest paid OL in the NFL. Now, pay Bryce....and you start having to actually do with the roster what you claimed he would provide by drafting him (save money on offense). We can't part w/ this dude soon enough. But you can't predict the folks at BOA

NFL is full of backups that can outplay Bryce. That's why the Panthers have only let you see is Jack Plummer and the washed Dalton. Building a real QB room w/ be an auto problem for Carolina/Bryce.
