Rhule is going to get desperate as the season finishes. Joe Brady was fired. He is then going to finish 0-5 without Brady and a 7 game losing streak. That means Rhule is going to throw guys under the bus hard. And it ain’t going to be his old roommate. Watch him bench Cam. Trash him publicly. Probably go to PJ. Then bring back Sam in for the last game.

I mean the audible to the bubble pass would have worked out great….if Zylstra even made an okay block. But he didn’t do anything. Zylstra imploded that play

Every play runs through his ear. And if a HC isn’t involved in key moments in the red zone, 4th down, etc?

Matt Rhule’s offense has had horrific situational playcalling for 2 seasons. So even if that one play was on Cam….it doesn’t change the fact that Rhule sucks. first drive. 3rd and long and we know we are going for it on 4th yet they throw long. Incomplete. Should of played a high percentage play to gain yardage that gave us more options on 4th. It’s all Matt Rhule. It’s not Joe Brady. It’s not Cam. Rhule is problem #1.

Situational playcalling on O under Rhule is a joke. Last two drives are perfect examples. if you want to go for it on 4th and 1 -use Cam prior drive. If you know you are going for it on 4th down….you don’t need to throw past the sticks on 3rd and long. You go with a higher percentage play. I’m done watching this today. Off for another type of torture. Going to finish my Christmas shopping.

Eh, I don’t think Rhule ever did anything to earn the title of really good college coach either. Maybe he could turn into one but that isn’t his resume. I still feel he is largely a college version of Ron/Fox. Give him a poo team and his brand of football will get them to be respectable. That’s what he did in college. Took dumpster teams and made them respectable. But he wasn’t out their actually overachieving and doing anything overly impressive. His teams never beat anyone of note.

I can handle signing Teddy. We just overpaid. But he knew the O we wanted to install and covid gave us little time to get it up and running. Keep him 2 years. But you should of drafted Fields. That’s at least a coherent rebuild plan. Fields would have taken over this year. Everything always aligned for us to do it the right way. But Matt Rhule going to Matt Rhule.

But this FO can’t be trusted. Reports are they tried to trade even more draft picks to Philly before bringing in Cam. Even more draft picks gone. They already essentially traded away our draft next year. Rhule needs to go. New GM too. People started hyping him simply because he traded down. Nothing about him says he is the guy to be part of a rebuilding effort IMO

Cam had one legit bad game. Miami. That’s it. Cam isn’t the problem. Matt Rhule’s OL and offensive play calling is. yeah, he had a pick 6 on Sunday but that was more of a great defensive call play. QBs sometimes just aren’t going to see defenders. The defensive call was perfect.

Depends on the HC. If Rhule is still here he should be forced by GM/owner to draft OL new HC? I would be fine with a QB being on play. If there isn’t one worth the pick then OL

Would like to see a Urban/Rhule matchup. It’s like the inverse of the Super Bowl. But there would be some entertainment value in the slop

this is why Cam should of never been cut. Cam always has and has had the right mentality about football. Rhule’s culture is bunk. Win. It’s all that matters. And if you don’t, it’s your fault. That’s basically always been Cam’s motto. And even back in the day when carried the team on his back he took all the blame and gave it to himself. And if you aren’t about that? Cool. Don’t play pro ball.

A grocery bagger isn’t in the entertainment business. He isn’t paid millions. He didn’t take a job to perform and entertain in front of the world. Brown did. sounds like Brown is pretty clueless about what his job actually is. Which also speaks to the culture Matt Rhule doesn’t have in the building.

new GM was part of bringing in, banking on and picking up Sam’s option. as far as I am concerned, giving him the power is like having Nixon instead of Brady over the offense.

So….why did we pay Cam Newton to be here? If you are going to have a 2 or 3 man QB rotation to finish out the season?

Hill came in essentially for a gadget run package. A variation of pulling a QB to run the wildcat IMO. I wouldn't say that is what we saw with PJ.

Every NFL head coach knows more about football than us. That doesn't mean NFL coaches don't do idiotic things that even a middle school coach would shake their head over. Hell, in the moment, how many NFL coaches can't even manage timeouts and a playclock properly at the end of a game?

Matt Rhule punted from the opponents 30 this year. That’s what your 70 million dollars gets you.
