  1. True, but the rest of the schedule doesn’t feature the Phins and the Cowboys defense. A weak practice squad RB just went off on the Phins today. the formula the last 2 weeks isn’t going to yield the same results as we keep going. Odds certainly favor the biggest factor being horrific defense playing a bigger role than Rico being Adrian Peterson suddenly We still are going to have to figure out this pass offense.
  2. Also, your steady reminder, don’t pay RBs to big deals. It’s the easiest position to find. Rico is outplaying Hubbard. Some practice squad RB for the Chargers just went for about 150 on the Phins today.
  3. I feel Rico and Hubbard are at their best with volume and rhythm. I don’t like split reps. Pick a lead horse and ride him. NFL isn’t setup for one to stay healthy all year. Ride Rico until Hubbard gets a shot to earn it back
  4. Bills, Packers, Rams, 49ers, Seattle, Tampa x2, Saints x2, Atlanta. Not a single game down that stretch vs a bottom 10 defense Tampa has a handful of games against really bad defenses yet to come so we would would have to find about 6-7 wins in the above set of games as wildcard teams generally flirt with around 10- 11 wins.
  5. Those dudes downfield weren’t NFL open they were Bama open. Thanks to a combo of Rico and Dallas D being bad
  6. Jake unlike Cam was tailor made for this type offense and the setup the last 2 weeks all I know is if Jake was the QB today, the leading WR wouldn’t of been Horn with 36 yards. Jake wouldn’t of been able to control himself and would have taken advantage of Dallas desperately trying to stop the run with some f u bombs downfield
  7. 11 scores, 8 turnovers broke 200 once this season
  8. Cowboys and Phins have defenses on par with the 2024 Panthers. I think that has a fair amount to do with Rico Dowdle looking like prime Adrian Peterson out of nowhere.
  9. I think vs bad defenses we are a running team. I do not think we have an identity on offense outside of that specific scenario
  10. This is the window of the schedule the wins were always coming when people were making those 5-6ish win predictions.
  11. 34 starts Bryce has trailed in the 4th quarter in 33 of the 34 games.
  12. Pretty impressive, especially since RB is a spot we have been able to figure out of over the years.
  13. Gets weird. Some of that is his teams are essentially always losing and behind at a much higher rate vs other QBs. what % of games is Bryce trailing in the 4th Q? That’s basically every game of his career minus a couple, I think you have to look at win % and do sort of a big picture take and not let that carry much weight
  14. He was out there today. I mean Horn lead WRs with just 30 yards today. Just wasn’t needed. At this point, with Coker coming back…..we shortly could get into a convo of XL or Tremayne down the road. XL just ain’t it.
  15. I think Rico being less patient is just flat out the better variety of RB vs bad defenses. Maybe if he struggles down the road vs life after the Jets….Hubbard can earn it back. we got 1 more week of playing a bad team before the schedule gets rough. Roll with Rico
  16. I’d play Rico over Hubbard. And I wouldn’t split series. Hubbard would have to earn it back when ever the opportunity presented itself but I expect Dave will give Hubbard the job back and do a painfully 50/50 ish split. Which I hate because some runners need volume and we employ 2 of such. So rep splitting stink for them
  17. Tremayne? I guess then? Horn does presently seem to be super schemed up right now so maybe Renfrow can survive a little longer?
  18. At this point I just blame Dave. It’s his team. HC should dictate Horn travels when a team has a clear cut primary WR.
  19. I want to someone to ask Dave if that was a trick play where XL pitched the ball…..that just shouldnt of been pitched because it never developed. I can somehow handle the lateral if it technically in the playcall if not, bench him for a healthy Coker
  20. What was Rico’s stat line while trailing the Cowboys?
  21. They definitely like him in pressure moments when it’s just about moving the chain. Back to back weeks of that showing. Time for that job to go elsewhere. I assume you have to make Renfrow a healthy scratch next week.
  22. Dak got 30 yards from his run game, Tua got 20 the week prior. They kept there teams in the game despite zero rush game . BY has gotten 200+ in back to back weeks. BY hasn’t outplayed an opposing QB all season. BY on a good day is a game manager…those guys were asked to be the man and get a win. Games put on the backs of QBs.
  23. That play and the game winner at the end last week (PI)….both were to little old Hunter Renfrow. He ain’t much but you the Panthers must view his hands as the most clutch in big moments.
  24. Issue is the last 2 weeks it’s not a replicable gameplan vs the majority of the NFL.
  25. Yeah….if Rico is the engine running the O and primary threat all day….and you have your QB play off that to often wide open targets? Thats a game manager day. Bryce did his part as a game manager and hit the wide open dudes. Rico with back to back 230+ yard games. Rico has been the O. Back to back dominant performances….with everyone reaping my the benefits of such.
