  1. Tepper would need the approval of the other owners to do that. No way the NFL does that. Charlotte is the 6th fastest growing city in the US. Raleigh is #1. Charlotte is the 15th largest metro area in the US. NC is a top 10 population state. Tepper can’t move the Panthers and Charlotte FC also. Long story short, he’s stuck.
  2. No, you’re right. This is all it is.
  3. Sam Howell has 12 INTs so far this season. How many of those are pick 6s?
  4. The people who matter know what’s going on. They know Campen didn’t choose the scheme. Franks OL coordinator from Indy is now doing great in Houston. That guy got blasted for turning the highest paid OL into a mid tier unit. NFL coaches knew it wasn’t really his fault.
  5. I don’t think Frank was hired to implement a stale, 1999 offense with zero creativity. We play the same personnel group 95% of the time. We have almost no pre snap motion. Frank was in on the decisions to get rid of Moore and Forman. Fitt deserves blame here, but Frank was here for all of these decisions. Frank also promised to build around what our players do best. He lied. Instead, he implemented the exact same offense he got fired for in SD and Indy.
  6. Maybe Frank doesn’t know how. Like a lot of coaches, he’s a great leader but a terrible X’s and O’s guy. He knows one way and that’s it. Can’t adapt.
  7. I think it set in during the preseason. Fitt tried to curb expectations right before the season if you remember.
  8. Frank was fired from SD and Indy for this same stale poo. He only knows one offensive scheme, and it’s from 2005. He took the best offensive line in football and regressed it to 18th in one year. Tepper’s issue is he doesn’t have the experience to look at a coach’s body of work and see the red flag. With Frank, the red flags should have been screaming.
  9. Thomas Brown is out either way. Either Frank will fire him to bring in a new OC, or Thomas goes with the rest of the staff when Frank is fired.
  10. Even working with Peterson and Sirianni, he learned nothing. It’s nuts. He really has no idea what he’s doing and has proven he can’t learn. Bigger issue, our FO brain trust didn’t see any of this when evaluating Frank. It should have been obvious.
  11. Frank had one good offense in Indy in 2020. That was Sirianni’s last year as OC. After that, Frank went to his bland offense that he took to the Panthers. Sirianni took his offense to the eagles and went to the SB. Seeing how good Indy’s OL played in 2020 and how bad they were after is crazy.
  12. LOL…I know, but we’re seeing the worst versions of every one of our offensive players. I see no reason why we’re not seeing the worst version of Bryce Young. Frank’s system is the problem.
  13. The guy said he thinks Stroud would be playing horribly in this offense. The scheme and talent level is just bad.
  14. This is all just bad coaching. Frank needs to go. Anyone who couldn’t see it wasn’t working in camp or can’t figure out a way to fix it mid season shouldn’t have a job. Bad ownership hires bad people.
  15. Here Scott…sit right next to me so we can watch this team you put together.
  16. He did nothing other than create a terrible offense after Sirianni left.
  17. He might have become a problem in the locker room. Lots of things go on behind the scenes.
  18. The Texans have better players and their OC is doing some great things. They just have a better overall team. No way Stroud plays well on this Panthers team.
  19. But Frank is supposed to be an Offensive guy. So our offensive minded head coach needs an offensive guru OC? From what I can tell, the offense looks quite similar to what he had in Indy with similar problems. Im just saying he clearly isn’t the right guy. What got him the job is all associations and being in the right place at the right time with the right people.
  20. It’s not, but forget the tone the author was trying to set. It’s about the common threads between Indy and here. Frank only got these jobs because of his Super Bowl ring, but it’s clear he had very little to do with that success.
  21. Yeah, but those bad tendencies were getting better under Daboll. Allen has definitely gotten worse under Dorsey.
  22. Ex Head Coach Frank Reich's new team? Terrible. Ex Defensive Coordinator Matt Eberflus' new team? Terrible. Ex Offensive Coordinator Nick Sirianni's new team? Superbowl contenders. The last time Colts had a good team? 2020. The last time Sirianni was with the Colts? 2020.
  23. I was hopeful Frank could learn and adapt, but it’s clear he hasn’t learned a thing from his time in Indy or his time with Sirianni. He needs to go now so we can see what Evero has to offer.
