    Me too! I wouldn’t make decisions but I would be in scouting meetings, pro days, combine, camps, everything. At least until the newness wore off.

    Agreed. The pluses for Stroud are his size and accuracy. I’m not as confident in his processing abilities though. I like Stroud but I really think the team has landed on Bryce.

    Maybe, but that isn’t obvious now. Wilson was clearly inferior to Lawrence back then. Wasn’t even close. Simms got caught up in the shiny new player and all the delusional projection you can do with a guy without a lot of film on him.

    I think this will be true as well.

    While a lot of ‘analysts’ say size shouldn’t matter with Young, most former players I’ve heard discuss him are scared for him. Pat McAfee did a segment the other day on this. He and another former player were extremely skeptical that Young won’t get killed out there some day. He’s just so small.

    30 yrs old. Started with the Bengals as a UDFA. Spent most of his career on practice squads until 2020. First career interception came via Cam Newton.

    I have some doubts on the most important thing…his ability to quickly process the field. I’ve seen evidence he can do it at a high level, but it’s not as obvious as Young.

    I believe Sims also had Zach Wilson above Trevor Laurence as well.

    This. New staff, rookie QB, not real offensive weapons. Its a building year… Yeah, another one.

    5 years is the stat. HC/QB combos have to win the SB in 5 years or they never do. Example. Cam and Ron went to the SB in their 5th year together.
