    You’re really emotionally invested in Bryce failing. So strange. BTW…he’s also the youngest QB in NFL history to have 3 pass TDs, 2 rush TDs, and over 250 yards passing in a single game. What was that about an eye test?

    They need at least two drafts worth of Defensive players. Too many holes to fill in FA alone.

    How? Doubt is doubt. Darnold - he’s not mentally capable to play at this level. Bryce - He’s not physical capable to play at this level. The narrative was wrong about Darnold and is probably wrong about Bryce.

    Sure, they have the physical talent. But people doubted their mental ability to play at this level.

    Everyone was questioning that. The narrative was that Darnold was too dumb to play in the league. Baker looked like he couldn’t play football when he was here.

    Because this fan base + ownership want immediate results. Like all QBs, they play well when the team plays well. We were trash when they were here.

    It’s sad that people are stilling putting the blame on the QB.

    Some people just want Elite play immediately. No patience. No understanding of how other players + coaching impact QB play. Bryce is staying for a while. Yelling about it isn’t going to change anything.

    Tepper is like the average Panther’s fan. If a QB isn’t immediately an all-pro hall of famer, he wants to move on. Football is the ultimate team sport. The team has to be good for the QB to be good and vise-versa. There are very very few exceptions. Darnold never would have been good here because the team is still bad.

    Let’s see what the next few games and next year look like. Remember, our LT and WR + TE corp wouldn’t start on any good team.

    Considering two of our last 3 QB cast-offs have gone on to be good players, I’m sure there is a market for another one.

    Unfortunately, I did watch all of those. Bryce will be here next year as a starter. We’ll see what happens then. No amount of fan complains will cause the team to replace him. I’ve seen reason to hope he can become something…that is all I’m pointing out.
