Probably, but we'll have to do something at center. If we don't pay Mays we'll have to look elsewhere. The options in the draft are underwhelming, IMO.

I'm a little worried that we haven't created any real cap space yet. Plenty of restructures we can do to create significant cap room + releasing A'Shawn Robinson. Why does anyone assume Arch Manning is going to even be that good of a prospect? He was awful for a good chunk of last season and if it wasn't for his last name he'd be projected to go in the 4th-5th round at best.

I actually would like that move. Metchie was with the Jets most of last year so you can't exactly put his lack of production on him. Plus he had leukemia and had to sit out his rookie year. He'd be a lower cost signing with some good upside who has experience playing with Bryce. I don't see how that's a bad move, especially considering he'd be our #3 WR at best.

Not a fan of taking a project QB to be our primary backup. As a developmental QB3? Sure. But you want your primary backup to be able to actually halfway produce if you need him to. If Bryce goes down week 1 I find it very difficult to believe that a rookie project like Taylen Green would be anywhere close to ready to start. I'm not against drafting a QB with his tools, but not as our #2 this season.

Is Lloyd going to re-sign before free agency? I'd be shocked if he hits the open market. If he does, we need to back the brinks truck up to his house ASAP.

It would depend entirely on the money for me. He wasn't great last year but was coming off the same injury Ickey suffered IIRC. That could be a sign that he wasn't fully back in 2025 or it could be a sign that he never will be.
