  1. Give me Adonai Mitchell or Keon Coleman at 33. One of them will be there. Both (mitchell more likely) have the skill (work ethic?) to be a number one WR in two to three years.
  2. Looks pretty close to me. Based on this I think we target the following in free agency still. Corner, edge, and center. Maybe a safety. Brady and Austin become the two backups for the whole line.
  3. Guys if you have a 16% hit rate, having multiple picks at that rate is not a joint probability. That's means each roll is completely independent of the other. In short, go after the high picks. I wouldn't even use 4th through 7th picks. would just trade them away for getting proven vets.
  4. I know he's not loved around here, but that's the gettleman model I remember. Hog mollies.
  5. I think we could have got someone with similar production and skill set for less but it's the only pick I think we really got worked on. Hunt is a top 5 guard and that's what they command now. New paradigm for dominant guard play. Still a really good player and its only 10 mil guaranteed for a starter.
  6. This time of year really let's you know who the fuging nuts are on the board.
  7. Yep. Some folks are paying attention. He'd be a great fit. Not a world beater but solid all around guy that won't cost a fortune. Would have liked to have paired him with Luvu or Queen though.
  8. Give me this guy and Josey Jewell at LB and I'll be tickled pink. Now who's volunteering for the tickling?
  9. Icky is on the Bryce plan, perform now that you have help or hit the bricks in 2025.
  10. i wont hate us getting shaved on the burns trade (given his laughable contract) but if we then turn around and overpay for a WR, i'm gonna lose it. Hes worth one of those 2nds, no more....just like Burns.
  11. a voice of reason in these mad times.
  12. lol. may take a little more than that but fair enough. i'd prefer Higgins (give em that 39th) and AD Mitchell at 33.
  13. if its only 39, i'd be ok with it. burns for a second, higgens for a second. i'd say we win that swap but yeah if he gets expensive then move along. Dont overpay at this stage of a build. cant do that.
  14. are they still talking? thats not good. why do rich turds think they can pick prospects? it really blows my mind. its like how did you get rich doing stuff you are 100% clueless on? i dont mind an owner wanting to be a fly on the wall and trying to learn but if you literally know nothing about football then sit there and let your people do their damn jobs. guess he's insecure that he doesnt know even how to hire people so hes micromanaging.
  15. Still possible we sign a strong C or attack early in the draft. Its and AND for WR, FA and early in draft. Lots of suitors for Higgins. That will be the test, does this team, like in the past overpay for guys or get the money matched well with the talent. If we can get Higgins for a second, then fair, anymore than that and should be a no. Feel like a TE is in the works too. Beyond those I think we chase value everywhere else. Won't try to fix the defense till next year. Gonna be a bunch of shoot out games, that we mostly lose. This year will be all about getting an offensive identity that can score points. One exception, I could see us targeting NT. The quickest way to improve the defense is to quit getting gashed on the ground. Can fix that with a run stopper at LB and a big NT. Those guys can be had for reasonable compensation.
  16. You know, I was just looking at pff last night and Saud, if these guys are serious about a zone scheme and defending Bryce, this is the guy. They're doing what they said they would do. Would not be shocked if we swap that day 2 pick for tee Higgins. Not sure I agree, but we get a "1" in that case.
  17. assumes we continue to do this next year. i'm not convinced we do.
  18. thats basically what we already had (look at the clowns Fitterer brought in--awful AND expensive). we won two games last year, time to start over. this is how you have to do it. build around the qb, see if hes legit, and then if not move on and let another qb take over an improved offense as we'll almost certainly have the top pick next year and probably the year after that. This is what happens when you dodge a rebuild for years, the bill has come due. Time to pay.
