    We’ll do the same thing next year. The team cannot beat good/elite teams, but we’ll play .500 ball against the sorry squads. 7-10/8-9 coming next year

    Yep. I don’t even want him back as a backup. He’s done an admirable job, and I wish him the best in his next destination.

    Yep, it’s a race to get that franchise QB. Whoever is able to get one, rules the south. I still think we overrate our current group, but even with that, and the current state of the South, we’re in decent position.

    My prayers go out to Higgins, as well as, everyone involved in this. It was a freak accident. I know Higgins is probably a wreck over all this. I know I would be, and most would. Praying for a full recovery for Hamlin.

    I don’t think you can count on Jackson to give you a full season, though. We have to do better there

    Man, that’s sad as hell. We know PJ ain’t it, but man, he’s had our highest QB grade?! I know you’re not going to have your QB top 5 every game. They do so much with the ball, and are involved in so much, but damn. We really need a better QB here. But yea, these grades tell a lot. This team has some pieces, but I don’t think we’re as good off as some would like to believe.

    How often is our QB in the top 5? I don’t know, but has any of our QBs been top 5 at all this season? Other than that, these grades are about what I would have expected. We didn’t play well against a bad Tampa team.

    and that makes me happy. one of the reasons I do not want Wilks back. I know a new coach is going to make a play for a new qb.

    I could be wrong, but didn’t you say you were willing to trade multiple picks for Maye in 2024?

    I’m disappointed, yet cautiously optimistic. Ready to get the off-season started, and see who the new head coach will be. Also ready to get that new franchise QB in the draft.

    He probably won’t admit it, but I’m sure this is a big deal to him. I hope he gets it. DJ is really the only player on this panthers team that I really rock with.

    Well, hopefully we end up with pick 6 or 7. After that, I’d start with 2 1sts and either a 2nd or 3rd

    I’d be prepared to give up this years first, a mid round pick this year, and next years first. I don’t think that bad haul.
