The only coaches who are at this moment (Sean Payton, Mike Tomlin) are established coaches in the league who had elite/HOF QB play. DW is a franchise QB. You get him now knowing you’re set at QB for a decade plus and focus your attention on fixing the oline.

If he’s innocent yes. if he’s guilty yes on some condition that he do community service, public speaking engagements, etc. something actionable and genuine.

I’m for it tbh. My only concern is the cost and the ability to surround DW with young and cheap talent on rookie deals moving forward.

Again we are kicking the proverbial can down the road in essentially disposing of Darnold and getting Tua. Tua does nothing to elevate this team now or in the future. If reports are true, it’s Watson or bust for us and that likely includes eating Darnolds salary one way or the other.
