  1. He thought he could outsmart the NFL with advanced analytics and rah-rah speech former sub-par players, particularly QBs, to relevancy and signing players who are “versatile” but not good was an adequate approach to fixing the oline. Plus much more. With that said, very, very, very few coaches in the NFL are winners without elite QBs. The only coaches who are at this moment (Sean Payton, Mike Tomlin) are established coaches in the league who had elite/HOF QB play. I imagine we would be singing a different tune about Rhule if he was afforded the luxury of having a Ferrari at QB and not a Honda.
  2. Nope, Cam has went through enough with this ungrateful ass franchise that mismanaged his injuries and refused to protect him by surrounding him with probably the worst collective talent of olineman in NFL history. Let Cam be.
  3. Lol we have established ourselves as a poverty franchise. What a ducking embarrassment if Rhule is the one that leaves with the largest contract in NFL coaching history.
  4. I hope we lose out and are unable to find a QB in the off-season and are forced to trot Sam out there again. Would be hilarious and well deserved. Winning now does absolutely nothing to benefit us.
  5. Well, Rhule and company wont be here much longer if this is true. Rhule needs an elite QB to mask his ineptitude.
  6. Stop quoting these new accounts lol. They are just spamming the thread and have zero indication of knowledge of what’s going on.
  7. This is all turning into a big nothing-burger. Texans leaking fake interest to try and incite teams to engage in a bidding war.
  8. I’m on board with that. Sit him and tank the rest of the season. We need as much draft capital as possible.
  9. Bad basketball there at the end. Had the game in the bag
  10. DW is a franchise QB. You get him now knowing you’re set at QB for a decade plus and focus your attention on fixing the oline.
  11. If he’s innocent yes. if he’s guilty yes on some condition that he do community service, public speaking engagements, etc. something actionable and genuine.
  12. No backtracking out of this. Nobody says “your kind” when referring to someone’s political preference.
  13. I’m for it tbh. My only concern is the cost and the ability to surround DW with young and cheap talent on rookie deals moving forward.
  14. Again we are kicking the proverbial can down the road in essentially disposing of Darnold and getting Tua. Tua does nothing to elevate this team now or in the future. If reports are true, it’s Watson or bust for us and that likely includes eating Darnolds salary one way or the other.
