honestly this doesn't bug me at all, but one time of life was fast driving too.....then traffic took over and my age started to take my "plums"...... His short arms, that's will cause him to fall even with his great tape. If by some chance, he fell to panthers 100% Dan would draft him. He's spoke glowingly and said no chance. I mean if get truthful background checks on every player, draft would be short.....

Csx you're smart enough to overlook the roster and see slot or alpha starter TE as weak points. I don't want WR either, but I see the names Moore, horn as the "hope" of filling that slot role. Plus I showed you Cokers injury history and his off-season in benj fatty camp. You can make a case that offense does need a weapon, even chubba does not scare defenses. You know its about scoring TDs and preventing them, Shaq, lemon, cooper would put more pressure on the other teams D in stopping them. There's not a DT worth the 19 and roster wise, there's not many holes...then if you are using the value smarts during the draft, do not use a 1st on C, NT, or S(unless Ed Reed clone). Ive said many many, if I had GM and felt good about keeping my job for the next couple years...Im taking a line man, preference LT, DE, edge, RT, or DT. Id say the same dang thing for 2nd, add in LB, CB, and this would be my window in adding a WR or TE....they'd have to special and falling, but I prefer waiting until the 3rd. Id even pull a old gettlegut and double up like he did with star and kk....Id draft 2 OT with the first 2 picks... same about DL...

What I heard three or so years ago, one of the higher ups spilled the beans to one of reporters(Jay glazer??). Basically the rams as a org, they feel the players are coached up on answering questions and they also have been training combine drills, thus its a "false" sense of the player now. They have done a great job of drafting in ALL rounds if you look at recent history, lots of hits in the 4th, 6th, 2nd etc. They just feel their method is more "pure" and not a coached up player that repeats " Im all ball, hardest worker, love ball, etc" Plus that 4.41 was 95% the working on the block start in underwear... . If you checkout their drafting history, its one of the most unique in the land. Cause they did struggle for a good period, but once they made the switch, they became one of the best drafting teams even without 1st rounders. They traded 9 out of the last ten 1st, before they picked the demon verse. Oooo and they focus on bigger schools, even the backup on OSU is thought of more than Elon blind kids star.. I see their success, but I want as much info as possible. So using combine and 30 visits would be tools for learning about each player.

Mingo was here and they did dump him fast and like you said XL, mingo, and TMJ are about the same WR. The coaches tell the scouts what they want in rookies, XL was tops on the list...whom looks like mingo... I mean horn was drafted too. But watching the draft video, his attitude seemed to be reason. I thought the WRs would play better as group under this staff..

Heres a good report on the groups, WR comes in 4th. Not much to diss-agree with, imo. I have found slot guy in 4th-6th on many mocks. There are some close groups, but nearly everyone agree about QB and RB being the worst. Honestly this feels like a coaching problem. They have a certain "type" with "flaws" that they believe can be coached, the issue is mingo, XL, and others have not took to this "coaching". I thought the one group panthers would excel in would be WR, given Dave, brad, and Moore backgrounds( WR coach was a solid NFL WR). Just a wealth of WR coaching, but........ I also feel BYs confidence in XL is one of the main issue, its their relationship. I think BY trust the following- tremble, Tmac, Coker and that's all(maybe new Metchie) . There was a vid and XL and BY were repping together. I do feel if you put XL with about any of the top QB, you'd see some good numbers at times and you'd see a NFL WR.

me too, last year I wanted Tmac, but I also took the walker cheese. I still "think" the odds fav is WR, but I don't have a name. 4-5 WRs, no idea who. I mean Dave could be pulling a ruse with his " I don't draft depth in the 1st " stuff. I don't know, the teams drafting around the Panthers, I don't like the group....they are good drafting teams and a couple have similar needs. I think trade is the way, but again no clue on up or down. The feeling right now there only 13-15 players with 1st round grades......so why would they want a 2nd and 3rd for a 1st round player?> the 9000 IQ play maybe to trade back into early 2nd and getting a 2027 first to do so.... ugh.... too much and no firm clues.....

@MHS831 here's the new "watch out for ________ " The urn...... erra I know you don't follow speedruning... the run. Some team from 9-12 could start a run on either WR or OT. Both groups have around 5-6-7 players that could fall in the top 20 range, the deal with runs is the panic factor and after those 5-6-7 players there's a huge drop to 8-10 like wait until the late third round. That's the juciest forecast Ive heard. Panthers are in the dead man zone if that happens. One of those runs completely changes the draft plan. Id say 26.89% one of the urns happens..... carry on!!

minus the 2024 draft....which could still get away better Dan has done about as good as a rookie GM could. He didn't have 1st overall pick or a future 2nd cause of the BY trade, that's a killer in building a team devoid of talent. He got the future 2nd back in a trade. Most of his FA big tickets have help, I know lloyd will without seeing him. He stole Michael Jackson and got draft picks for 79 year old Adam and Dalton. He's "fixed" the OL and DL with some depth, no other former GM had done that. Id say the team has gained talent form the time he took over, I know its a low line and all. Still that's the whole goal, add talent that helps make a winner. 2-5-8. Give him another full draft and full season and see how it goes. I feel like the team with solid QB play could give about any non-top 5 team all they want. Panthers did that twice with the rams and the MVP. That's was with guru Mccvay and them knowing evero....

Yea there's a couple spots were "depth" is just a waste. 3 decent TEs with some hope, using a 4-7 rounder would have a tough time beating out Frank or "the mayor" for a job. There's room for a starter, not more of the same player. That's my take, besides I like either frank or the mayor for the 4th role. Just need one of those "develop" type UDFA on the PS..

I thought it was funny that Luke was like " Dont draft this guy ".... Luke is like peppers, he's a different thinker....my god if they got the right coaching or people around them before the NFL......all records would fall......maybe its a great thing neither "found" the drive or anger to be one of the chosen record setters. Its hard to picture Luke what he was, he's like a camp church helper that facilitates cabin life to the youth for his remaining life.

Proctor is my exception, but my ass GM job does have enough security...... I agree with you. Plus GMs and coaches feel the same, they want to win NOW, not next. I would break this idea if feeling or my top guy proctor somehow made it 19, real LTs are the hardest spot to fill, even over QB. I think either can play LT.

Jermod McCoy is visiting panthers this Friday. Me thinks those Michael Jackson are not going well.... I think the only way to draft McCoy is a trade up.... he missed all of 2025 with a bad knee. Put up insane numbers for his pro-day.

not having white hurt, he's just carrys the scoring and pace without most of the starting unit in the game. Ball just did all he could. James, had a great year and just couldn't finish with the scoring. Best rookie class in hornets history, all three of them are legit NBAers with plus traits. I was questioning Kon and his ability to guard players. He's no weakness there, brown went right at him plenty too. Boston, allow hornets to be healthy and play some games in the hive without those refs...... I still like hornets in 7.
