Yep, those top 7 or so are looking like this year starters. Sonny is just 10% bigger and faster than the nest best. He's on another level, thus I do not see him falling out of single digits....unless his interviews are beyond bad. I didn't think he would measure this well, he proves the combine can still make you more millions. Personally I hate to see Panthers use 1st or 2nd on ILB unless the gold jacket is in play.... Seems like 3rd maybe too late of one of top shelf group.

yea Dan blew this up, "Ive had no team calling about trading Dalton". I was thinking Adam was doing the Panthers a favor....then Dan is like "WUT?, NEVER HAPPENED" I only see a big bro deal with one of the young QBs, one fact is Miami was trading for Dalton 2 years and that QB coach is here now.....one less want out there among teams. Like others have said, if anyone watched his last last...he looked 38 and maybe older. It just wasn't his slow foot speed, it was the decisions too. ugh.... Still why have a #2-3 old guy, when that's the QB coach job?? He's cheaper and doesn't cost a roster spot.

You maybe on to something. The recent hire of Darrell bevell may have suggested it after his viewing of the season. I do think brad should have a understanding of BY and what to call. I also think huddle, x, plebitt, bragbook panther fans started to ask loudly "What does Brad do?!?!?". I also think Dave is trying to save himself if BY fails....

Best I know he's a ILB that's in the 2-3 range. Leader etc etc all the buzz words about ILB. I did see some early 1st talk, but that has cooled.

honestly since Brandt Tillis got here, they have not done much restructuring outside a couple lower paid players. Brandt said he learnt how the NFL views contracts by working at the NFL. I've always maintained restructuring is fine, so long your have a winning team/great QB/great ______ . Then it makes sense, not with a 5 max winner like Panthers were for years. You got to win or have a highly talented group that odds are they will make noise in the playoffs.

Dan and Dave have been saying over and over; "we want a competitive team". It is past time for the QB "leader" to do what everyone else is doing. I think, I mean if its me....Im not counting on BY to save my job. This coming year is one of those fork path super different deals for not only the team but many Panthers, coaches, and staff. If BY isn't "him", and Panthers win 3 games..... whole new everything minus owner is incoming. About the only safe player would be dbrown and maybe tmac...

Watch out now...... I agree but many others disagree with this line of thinking. I seen a recent summary too- Which would you rather have the best safety or the 8th best edge? Best safety maybe kyle hamilton, the 8th best edge is Maxx Crosby. Id take maxx even with Myles or TJ on the roster. Plus if you don't like Maxx as 8th best, Id take whoever the 8th best edge is over the Kyle. Panthers need a starter level edge, the only realistic shot is using the 1st rounder. But if somehow a stud LT pulls out a gas mask and falls to 19, draft them if much higher ranked. The funny deal is those teams drafting in the late portion of drafts don't need edge, QB, WR, or OT..... I wonder why?!??? hmmmmmmm.... plus it pays off for them, cause they do need OG, ILB, TE, safety..... and now they get a top level player to remain great....

I did poor this past yr, even with a above average FA and draft class, I don't see the wins getting 6 and I don't blame any coaches. I swear Icky dropped the win total 2 from his late injury. I feel 4 is the max, but given the NFC south offers 6 games and I see 2-3 "close" games........Theyd have to have more luck than this year to be above 6 wins. Or land a HOF or two form the draft......

Looking at the cap space, panther will only land one big fish if they want. Lloyd should be on the top ten list, just a perfect LB to re-rail a team with rich LB play. He can do it all and no weakness in his game, all 4 downs and he can pass cover with the best. When he needs to tack or lay a hit, he brings the pain. I feel Panthers will get priced out for his services.

If he wants to return like many of the other OL, why not if the price is fair? I forget the huddler ID, but they had a good idea about Jedrick Wills on a cheap return to NFL deal. Honestly when Yosh is in the top 5 options for FA, that's awful for teams... Draft feels like its one of the best spots. I feel they need draft at least two OT and sign one able to start 10 games this season. Dave needs to already form a new set of playbooks with TE helping Left side.....

I think this is very clear, hate it needs sharing each year since 2015. These mocks, you can not fill all the needs/wants. The #1-5 goal should be adding the best talent, hope its OT, edge, ILB, C, FS, SLOT/WR/TE, RB, and even QB.

Better than I write, I think how/what/who decides on QB will be the top factor in his employment. I thought if its me......Im using draft cap, cap space, even trade to bring in more talent at the QB spot. I want to kept cashing teppers checks and the queen is nice place to live even for a WC "person"..... I got no read on if Dave is willing to allow BY to drive the ship, I would not want to be in his shoes about dealing with this. The draft is awful after the top pick, I mean my guy Cole Payton maybe the 2nd best and he's a near unknown. The FA pool is worse, Mac Jones just said he didn't want to be traded. I want NOTHING to do with TUA, Watson, or Murray unless the team pays for the whole salary. He needs to ask Seattle what they need for either lock or milroe.....Sam is tough and they both are "young" but have more skills than BY.... Id even call the bears about my guy Tyson. I can not believe trade is the best form to not loss your job or pray BY becomes a god....

You found out what I said months ago. Its sort of simple, if Panthers/you want a edge....*Panthers need a starting edge that gets hurries/sacs/press/etc* You almost have to use the 1st on edge. Just the way it is, of course some .01% Panthers get lucky and a 4th rounder shocks the world and becomes a day one starter. I hate double talk, I also feel the Panthers need a top backup ala Addison or Al Wallace. Sooooo I do feel the need to add one in mid rounds if possible. I mean Pat Jones is on the MAYBE cut list, Panthers need space, he had a back injury and had little impact on field. So....... It goes back to adding talent, Panthers need talent, young talent. OT- In my finding Im able to land a "stud" in round 2 more than 50% of the current rating. Even in the 3-5 rounds, (duke lad) Im able to get a OT within the top ava. I normally draft two OTs with one must play LT at some point. So I feel the draft is weak, but one of the strong point and it helps panthers is the OT spot. A few of those OT in mid, some will be starters this year. I posted this else where, but here is the best outcome for the Panthers given the mock draft finding- 1st- Edge 2nd- LT/OT 3rd- ILB 4th- BPA/safety/center/WR/OT/etc 5th- OT/edge/C/DL/TE 5th- """" 6th- QB/Punter/safety/NB/OL The draft feels weak at 80% of the spots and teams Im sure are on this thought too. This past draft feels much better and deeper against the pool There is no Mike green or Nic scro in the late 2nd. There is no Evans sitting there in late 5th. There is not even a Prince level edge in the 3rd by my finding. I feel Panthers for sure new to draft 2 OTs and I high believe drafting 2 edges, one must be a 1st tho. Then the remaining 3 picks one late on QB, one on ILB, and the last one BPA. Honestly the FA looks bad too, the huge problem is the amount of needed for Panthers and there's not enough cap space or draft picks to fill even half the issue this season. Its goes back to just add the best talented players possible, *so long they do not play OG, strong safety, Dbrowns spot, and Tmacs spot. Add talent everywhere else, cause its lacking.......Even CB with horn struggling and Mike Jack on a one year deal, Thor coming off injury. Just to add, Ive dated athletic women for a good period in my prime. Facts are they have manly features cause of low fat%. I dated a college softball SS that was 2nd all-time at her division 1 school in many categories. 185-210 power lifters types during the whole cross fit era. Many times the "bad angle" hurt them more......in fact I stopped taking pictures in gen..... I miss them all, they treated me better than my "gyatt and broke" period.... There is NOTHING wrong with that female type in my finding.... Id 100% date many of the WNBA women, but they got to want to date a man for starters......

Im no fan. *was Facts are he took a terrible 2 win team and won 5 without early 1st and dead cap hell. Then in his second year with a minor improved roster, won 8 with NFC south turd championship. I mean..... he's doing 5x better than I thought he could with limited help and him with no EXP. He should get a full 2026. He is building a better team, no matter me not believing in his overly happy methods... Let him cook as the youth say...
