Nah plenty of people in the sports professional world still believe in Young. Fans like to overreact and can’t separate the player from the situation. I like to hang out in the “wait and see” area. If fans want to be optimistic who cares? Pessimistic? Sure go for it? If you are finding yourself in a constant state of pessimism especially to the point where others optimism is actually bothering you it might be time to check out some other hobbies until things get turned around in Carolina. People shouldn’t spend their free time around something that makes them miserable. Life is too short. If Young is as bad as people on here think then he will deliver us another chance at a top QB in 2025. If he turns it around then we can use our assets to keep building around him. I’m just going to wait and see while enjoying the show.

Those 6 year seniors always worry me, especially after Pickett. I mean they are 23-24 playing against 18-20 year old players. Both also struggled earlier in other conferences. Penix’s injury history behind our OL is just a terrible idea as well.

If Canales gets us from 2 to 6 wins in one year that would be a very good sign. That means year 2 should expect around a 500 season with a possible playoff push. This roster has a lot of holes still.

As a FA sure, but we can’t afford to give up anymore valuable picks for players. It would probably cost a future 1st to get him. Losing the top pick in this draft is bad enough, doing it again would be insanity.

So what are we doing here? Mocking him for overcoming his addictions? Now we have fans disgruntled be he stated he was excited to work with our QB?? He will do his best to help Bryce as any coach in his spot should and he appears to love what he does. Mocking him for past struggles with addiction is pretty low and I hope we can be better than this. If you can’t then perhaps some self reflecting is needed on your part.

I mean 3 years seems reasonable to show some sort of decent improvement. I’d expect a team being in the playoff race (not necessarily even making it) by year 3 reasonable. We all knew Rhule wasn’t the right year halfway through year 3.

That’s with DJ Moore and CMC. I doubt Young gets weapons that good yet. I’m just wanting to see some significant improvement that’s all. My bar is low for the whole offense.

Wouldn’t all of this make it more impressive if Canales gets Young numbers just short of what Baker put up? That’s quite a leap in development and my whole point.

Right now their fan base is upset. Let’s just enjoy the little victories.

I think some of these fans are not going to be satisfied even if Bryce improves quite a bit next season.

It’s literally top 10 in TDs and yards but sure. 9th in yards and 7th in TDs. Baker is a finalist for Comeback Player of the Year for a reason.

Ceiling? I’m talking about next year. Asking him to pass 4000 passing yards with 28 TDs and 10 INTs this next year would make Canales a QB whispering GOAT.

Their scoring increased 11% after replacing Brady (the GOAT) with Baker (who was labeled as a bust). If Young has a fraction of the year Baker did our fans will be thrilled.
