I wish we could sign him this offseason. He would probably get hurt here though…
-
He did. He wanted to play 3-4 standing up and we weren’t running that type of defense.
-
These are just guys who can make all the throws but not make any jaw dropping elite arm passes like the later part of the list. You don’t seem to notice that much of a difference in their passes, well I don’t notice.
-
I’m not sure how much longer he will be here but we have to start looking at the future. No huge contracts no trading away top picks.
-
We have way too many needs to pay an edge rusher that kind of money. Trade him off for picks and use that money to sign several other players to try to build a more complete roster.
-
For some reason I feel like we have a chance this game. Maybe because we played so well against the Lions last year, but I know it's an entirely different team now.
-
I don’t think the Broncos want players just picks so I’m not sure about the Burns thing. I’m thinking it’s two different things. 1 is a possible trade for Jeudy (conditional 4th maybe) and another team that is a contender trades for Burns (a 1st plus some). We would net better draft picks plus a decent WR for our offense and lose Burns.

I really don't get the play calling thing. If our offense was killing it then yeah keep calling them, but that's clearly not the case. Let Thomas Brown do his thing and worry about all the other HC duties. -

Hey I’d love it if this were true. It’s kind of dumb to hire a new HC with a short leash in mind, but if that gives Brown play calling quicker I’m down with it. -

Reich hired Evero and let him hire all the defensive coaches. Reich also brought in Brown. If Tepper/Fitt are hiring OCs and DCs we are in even worse shape then I thought. -

Asking Dan Morgan how much of this poo is your fault?? -
Nothing. He is just next in like to be GM so he makes sense for an interim. They can do a full search in the offseason.

Hurts had issues with deep ball accuracy for a minute. They did a great job building an offense for him and developing him. At one point teams were questioning if he could play at this level before he went to OU. Maybe Saints Carr has lost some zip, but his arm hasn’t impressed me. Carr’s average is 6.2 this year which was Young last game . Honestly his stats aren’t much different considering he played an extra half game and has a much better supporting cast. I honestly don’t know about Tannehill. He lobs them up by they are picked half the time. Hell most people can do that.
-
His OL is starting to gel and now he has a legit weapon in Moore. I think he is trending up.
-
If we stay winless the next however many weeks fire Fitt and let Morgan handle things. If Reich keeps his bullshit play calling with terrible clock management you gave Brown or Evero capable of holding down his spot if needed.
-
Williams is rumored to not want to play there. They can get a haul from the Vikings, Oakland, or the Giants for him.

He is on par with your average NFL QB. Cousins, Goff, Carr, Hurts, Dobbs, Purdy, Smith, Burrow, Watson, Jackson, Pickett, Tua, Mac Jones, Tannehill, Jimmy G etc… He isn’t an Allen, Fields, Herbert, Mahomes, Howell cannon but is capable of making any throw especially if his feet are set. His arm strength/throw power is what it is. Carolina needs to dial up the throws and get him comfortable throwing it deep at this level. Arm strength doesn’t differ from college to the NFL. If he was dropping deep passes right on target that skill didn’t disappear. He is either uncomfortable doing it in this offense or Reich is uncomfortable calling it for him. Week 1 showed 2 nice looking deep passes. One was overthrown which happens and the 2nd TMJ gave up on his route which looked to be right on target. It think we’ve seen a couple where he gets hit or has a lot of pressure on him and they’ve looked bad coming out, but hell Cam (who had a cannon) had a few of those.
-
That’s more than fair. This is nothing new with Young though. Burrow for example never had elite arm strength and went 1. I’m with you though which is why I preferred Stroud. The top pick needs a heigh floor with a high ceiling.
-
Wow come on people. Howell and Fields both through great deep balls. Yeah they might make Young’s arm look bad, but his arm is fine. He had an NFL arm in college unless he had some crazy injury he is more than capable of making most NFL throws. Nothing special in the NFL, but a capable arm.
-
It has one choice. Open up the offense for Young. Let him attempt these passes, let me make turnovers and we will know what we have by year end. Protecting him is hindering him and any chance of development. Open it up and let Bryce do what he wants to do,.
-
and Baker looks solid and both QBs we passed on are looking great. At some point Fitt is going to have to get canned.

I was trying to ignore our issues tonight and these guys are like nope.
