  1. Well that have no excuses there. They had 4 rounds to draft him.
  2. Guess who Pete Carroll was interested in this last draft??
  3. Wilks vs Rhule was a huge difference with the exact same roster and no offseason to install Wilks’ defense or offense. Coaching matters most IMO as long as it’s not an extreme difference in talent. Let Andy Reid coach our Cam, Luke team and we would have been in the playoffs every year.
  4. Are you agreeing to the “game” or just naming busts? I’m curious to see how it goes.
  5. It doesn’t look so bad seeing it this way. Stalled out a couple times in the red zone and of course the fumble was awful.
  6. Yeah like making a thread about a player crying that didn't even happen and getting defensive when people gave it the poo. The nerve of some people! Two of your threads got locked down but you weren't being emotional or overreacting...
  7. Burns should be traded ASAP. His play is getting worse and his value might be dropping. I'm good with YGM, Houston, DJ, Barno, and Haynes when he returns. Get that first round pick plus some and stop worrying about missing on that Ram trade opportunity.
  8. I didn't even catch that. Imagine if he turns out to be a solid player after how annoyed we all were about that pick.
  9. I would say our offensive play calling being so terrible plus Stroud setting the league on fire has made things 10x worse for Young from a fan's standpoint. I find myself watching Stroud and shaking my head at what could have been, but does Reich run this same Mickey Mouse offense for Stroud and does he look just as bad as Young if he does.
  10. If he has our offense playing well enough to warrant him getting a HC job I think most of us would be happy. I would think that McCown or Staley could get bumped to OC or we could seek outside help (maybe someone else from the McVay tree) in that case.
  11. Something about them doesn’t seem as threatening. Maybe it’s just their history. They have to prove they aren’t the Lions of old which looks like they are starting to.
  12. He went from a 0 to a 37. That's technically improving it's just still terrible....
  13. Herbert puts up good stats but has been around 500 as far as winning goes. I'm not sure he would have been the savior some people think he is.
  14. It's interesting because Burns being misused and Chinn not being used enough falls strictly on Evero. YGM growing also does in a positive way. He also has pieced together a banged up secondary to his credit. We probably need to trade Burns sooner vs later or his value could drop if we aren't using him right. Houston and YGM can bee our edges with a Haynes (coming back from injury soon) and Barno filling in. The Reich stuff is a complete mess. If he can't manage the clock he doesn't need to be worrying about what vanilla plays we are running. Let Brown do his job so he can be a better HC. He is simply not a HC than can handle play calling plus everything else.
  15. Call me crazy but I don't think Detroit crushes us. If it was at home I might even go with us winning it. Miami will probably cook us, but overall we have hung around every game this year.
  16. I honestly think Young is going to be ok when it's all said and done. My concern is and will continue to be (until proven otherwise) what we passed up in Stroud. His only weakness in college was handling pressure/going through reads which he seems to have no issues with at this level so far.
  17. When that WR screen hits for a TD Reich is going to be soooooo excited.
  18. https://www.houstontexans.com/team/injury-report/ It looks like half of the starters didn’t even play.
  19. I’m not writing off Mingo yet. He wasn’t the best pick for what we needed because he was still pretty raw, but he should have a good ceiling with his size/speed.
  20. Lol you aren’t wrong….
  21. His first down pass to Hurst was a kill play if I remember correctly.
  22. If Thomas catches that or if Chark catches his slant Young puts up over 200 passing yards and a TD which is what a lot of us were wanting. Chark was fighting through contact at least but Thomas's drop was a complete blunder.
  23. He is a young OC who learned directly under McVay. He also had a couple interviews for HC. What’s not to like?
