I didn't follow the first two close enough after they left. I know Shaq was solid, we were just spoiled with Luke, TD and before that was Beason before that Morgan.... and of course Mills.
-
I have nothing against WItherspoon, I just know when we put Shaq in TD's spot he played great. More opportunity more tackles.
-
Shaq got over 100 tackles 4 straight years after TD left, then he couldn’t stay healthy. Being the 3rd LB with Luke and TD limited his stats earlier in his career but once he got TD’s spot he was good.

Nic Scourton- PFF Highest Rated Rookie (Week 5)

He would be the gravy. I like the TDs but his catches and yardage have been minimal. I don't know how he is at blocking. -

My hope is TMac is a WR1 (looks very possible), Scourton is a solid starting edge (looks also possible), Princely can be a pass rushing specialist (like a better, healthier Haynes), Fitz is our future kicker (looks possible), and Thornton can replace Jackson as CB2 next year (very small sample size but looks good). That would be a huge win and anything else is just gravy. -

No need to try to flex. It's early and can't we just be happy to see some promise from our young players? Rookie kicker looks legit, rookie TE caught the GWTD, rookie WR looks to be legit, undrafted rookie CB looked good in limited snaps, rookie edge looks legit and the other has potential. This could be the rookie class we need to jump start this rebuild. -
Yeah few teams are running 3-4 and 4-3 most of the time. I feel like we use nickel and I know we used a lot of big dime against Atl. The 4-3/3-4 argument isn't much of a thing anymore.

Who are the top QB prospects for the 2015 draft?
ForJimmy replied to Panthero's topic in 2015 NFL Draft
Still think Moore might be the best based on the small sample size. Indiana and Oregon should play each other so that could be interesting. Sellers probably has the highest ceiling but he will need time and I feel like he is a prime candidate to get rushed out and ruined early in his career. -
Coker(GOAT) coming back and hopefully XL getting out of his slump should help our offense. BC at RG over Zavala looked like a nice upgrade on Sunday.

Helps you keep building the roster which we desperately need to be doing. Lance or Fields wouldn’t cost any assets except some salary cap space with Lance being the cheaper option. You also can draft one if they happen to fall to you in the right spot. I thinking a Carson Beck or Taylen Green if they fall to us in the 3rd or later or whenever there is a lot of value.
-
I still think Lance would be a good one to bring in this offseason. Learned behind some good offensive coaches, has sat for a while now, has all you need physically, and has looked decent in the preseason and very limited snaps so far.

Nice to win, but Tim Weaver of SI has key duds among the studs

He has been coaching us long enough to not be phased by missed calls lol. -

Dante Moore is the top pick in a couple of mock drafts now. -
I was really happy we snagged him in the 2nd. Some had him as late 1st pick.
-
I like Beane don’t get me wrong but he 100% lucked into Allen. That is an absolute outlier of a pick that worked. Aside from that the Buffalo roster isn’t done complete elite roster. Allen kind of carries it IMO. Buffalo is being helped by having Allen and McD for stability most of all.
-
Agreed. At least that’s where he SHOULD be drafted. Someone will overdraft him, but he was exposed at UGA last year.
-
If the Titans are dumb enough to move on from Ward after 1 year with zero help I’d throw a 3rd their way for him without hesitation. I doubt they do though. He was the top pick.

They have a great HC over there. I don't know if he was using us for leverage or not, but we sure as hell should have entertained the idea. -

Ladd had a great rookie season. Looks like he is starting to come back down this year. This is with a solid QB and a solid HC who is known to make his QBs look even better. This year Ladd is averaging around 40 yards a game and has 0 TDs. He also was injury prone in college. If he was a Panther he would probably be injured now or not playing nearly as well as he did last year. You can't just pick players that are succeeding with other franchises and assume they will be doing the same here. -
If we have the top pick the first plan should be to trade down if someone can offer a dumb package like we did.

Allar is so frustrating. I get he doesn’t make many weapons at PSU but he disappears in big games. His arm is impressive though… -

You sure Dante Moore at Oregon is purely a dual threat? I think you might be thinking of Taylen Green. Moore has 1200 passing yards 14 passing TDs, 1 INT, with a 75% completion rate vs 122 rushing yards 0 rushing TDs on the season. Mendoza has 6 more carries so far for example. -
Moore is a redshirt sophomore so technically he can declare. I’m not sure that he will. If he does he is the best prospect by a decent margin so far.
-
He has two NFL WRs on his roster one being Lemons who should be a high 1st round pick. That plus Lincoln’s offense help his stats look great. Don’t get me wrong he has a nice arm and seems to throw decent on the run but he has had some bad open misses too. I wouldn’t want him in the 1st.
