  1. He isn’t the worst in the league but we shouldn’t be as concerned about him as we would any other below average starter.
  2. He lost his job to PJ and Sam under Wilks who is a capable coach. It was already leaked the Bucs are still looking at QBs so Baker might not even be the starter.
  3. If he can’t beat out Dalton and Corral by week 1 you don’t want him starting week 1. With that said I fully expect him to be our starter week 1.
  4. I can agree with all of this. It will be up to Lance to try to beat out Darnold now that he is healthy which may or may not happen,
  5. Plus they had a shaky OL with not many weapons. Our offense is setup for a rookie to step right in.
  6. No one "follows" you. People like me just remember a fraction of the terrible takes you have on here because they are so shockingly bad. You lied about Icky's sacks numbers and stated he might need to move to guard or become a bust. You were high on Glass and are still bragging about a USFL coach. Glass has "interest" lol he signed with a USFL team and now isn't even listed on their roster. Keep up the good work for your followers!
  7. A lot of hate? People are just giving their assessments and his market value agrees with it. It's nothing personal as very few have the ability to be a franchise QB. Darnold still has plenty of talent.
  8. Yeah that's kind of what I am saying. No need to trade him and get nothing back. Wait another year while you are unsure about Purdy (who is still hurt) and if Purdy is legit you can trade him next season for the same or maybe more if he shows anything in the preseason or gets any playing time.
  9. I think they want to see if Purdy is legit before they trade away Lance. His value would be at a low right now, if he looks decent this year they could possibly get more.
  10. Darnold will look like a decent starter on that roster when everything is going fine and the run game is clicking. As soon as he is pressured or there is pressure on him to deliver he will let them down. Unfortunately he doesn't have the mental fortitude to handle pressure at the NFL level and not many do. I've seen him completely shook way to many times on the sidelines to think he can ever be a true franchise QB. A talented backup on a strong roster sure but that's his ceiling.
  11. and he is 6'4" 225. So I don't think a smaller QB is more prone to get hurt on a QB sneak. Sometimes fluke injuries happen just look at some of Jaycee Horn's.
  12. Yeah I was thinking he could find a seam and sneak right in. Smaller and lower center of gravity might help a little.
  13. Thielen also mentioned TMJ specifically. There is definitely some potential there.
  14. That guy has already called Icky a bust, wanted us to draft Aqeel Glass, and sign a USFL coach as OC. Whatever he is saying go ahead and assume the opposite. He has the worst takes I’ve seen on here.
  15. You bring in Aaron Rodgers to a team with plenty of talent like the Jets and you expect the playoffs. I've heard Jets fans mentioning the Super Bowl which I think is extreme, especially in the AFC.
  16. Man if the Jets miss the playoffs NY will riot.
  17. I’m an Auburn fan and that comparison is awful. They are like polar opposites. Young was one of the most accurate QBs in the NCAA last year while PJ struggles with accuracy. Young is a cerebral PG-like distributor of the ball while PJ is a gunslinger. Young thrives under pressure while PJ does not.
  18. Yeah the struggle to troll is real when a 370 3 TD game is one of his worst…
  19. How did Young play? 370 yards 3 TDs and 1 INT. Yeah that’s awful…
