  1. Arm strength is probably the right answer. He is a very accurate QB. At Fresno State, he completed 68.2% of his passes. In his final season, Haener had a completion percentage of 72%. In addition to being accurate, Haener was extremely careful with the football. In three seasons, Haener had a 67:17 TD-INT ratio for the Bulldogs
  2. Good point. I could see us using 33 and 39 to get back into the first and draft JSN or Porter Jr (both came in for visits) to go with AR. Would we value AR and JSN over Young and Downs for example. It's interesting and I'm glad I'm not making the decision.
  3. Good catch. Would it not be close to the same value as a FUTURE 1st?
  4. I've always heard (and don't agree with it) that a future 1st holds less value. A current 2nd could be viewed as equal to a future 1st. It always takes more than just a future 1st to acquire even the last pick in the first because the value of time.
  5. Would 33 not have the same value as next year's 1st? This year's top 2nd round pick vs next year mystery 1st round pick.
  6. There you are! I was waiting for you to give us the scoop about your boy Haener.
  7. It still makes me lol. Look at the wind resistant on that thing. It probably slowed down their 40 times.
  8. Exactly. People are overhyping this S2 test. You can't brag about Young acing it and ignore Fields/Levis doing well but having processing issues. Tape is the king when looking at these players. Young has elite tape.
  9. The main issue that I keep reading for him is he "lacks ideal size"
  10. Yeah I was reading his weaknesses... https://thedraftnetwork.com/sr-prospect/jake-haener-d9059b47-4403-4237-bcdf-b79d00a69c48/ Overall, if Haener were bigger and stronger we would be talking about a sure-fire top-10 pick, but unfortunately, he is not. With his lack of high-end traits, it’s hard to see Haener ever being a top starter at the next level, but with his natural ability as a passer and the competitive toughness he displays, I would not be shocked to see him develop into a low-level starter who you can win with if you surround him with a good team. I would not bet against this player *He is 6'0" 207 BTW
  11. He is listed on the S2 with Brees, Mahomes, Allen, and Burrow as mid 90s. It's funny how people think he has issues processing yet this test is showing the opposite. Levis is right there at 93 so maybe we shouldn't be so against him as well...
  12. I wonder why Haener isn't getting more hype? He is only 1 point behind him tied with Burrow.
  13. Check out that camera man mean mugging Reich in the background!
  14. I hope he isn’t that little he has 2 inches and 20 something pounds on what might be our new QB…
  15. I thought you were team Stroud like a couple weeks ago?
  16. That's how it has looked to me. Fitt likes Young and Reich wants to do a real deep dive into this class.
  17. I'm just telling you what Fitt is probably thinking oh and he actually compared them. The second one is Reich talking about Fitt and the first one is Fitt himself. They are definitely using Russ's success to look at Young whether any of us agree with it or not. “Yes, it is a concern,” he said. “But look at Drew Brees, look at Russell Wilson. So, are there very many quarterbacks his size that are high, high picks? No, there are not. But, there are exceptions to that. And there’s good reason that there’s exception to that.” “It’s Scott Fitterer, it’s the GM, and he’s talking about Russell Wilson — who, by the way, I had a very high grade on. You don’t have to read anything into that, but I don’t mind telling you that I had a high grade on Russell Wilson. But don’t read anything into that, because I’m just saying that all these people putting this label on me that I only work with big quarterbacks. Don’t read anything into that.”
  18. Yeah I see that, but it probably eases some of his concerns about height. The see a 5’11” QB have that much success.
  19. I agree. I think Fitt is all in on Young. Especially after the success Russ had with his old team.
  20. Both OGs are coming back from injuries and Corbett is gone after this year so it makes sense.
  21. This made me lol. I like the new avatar btw. That better be process blue!
