I’d consider Ewers in the 2nd (without moving up for him).

Panthers in the Market for a QB (again): 2025 Draft
ForJimmy replied to MHS831's topic in Carolina Panthers
Pretty spot on. He may be the best of the group. We just can’t afford to take that kind of risk. One I don’t think his dad lets him play here and he has said he will “pull an Eli” for certain teams. Two if he does come here you don’t want Deion causing any off the field distractions. Developing a young QB is hard enough without them plus we have a new, young coaching staff. -

I’m pretty sure I read his son has trained with Brady some. Coaching/training won’t be an issue with Sanders. He has had it at the highest level since he could walk more than likely. -
Yep. His offense was clearly outmatched by UGA’s defense. Not sure that affects the prospect too much. I thought he was a bottom half of the first guy anyway so it doesn’t matter to me unless he falls to the 2nd.

Yeah it looks bad all around though. Once the defenses adjusted to Manning he looked just as bad. Couldn’t get a good pass off and then a fumble.
-
Helps Ewers honestly. If Manning came in and looked solid, his draft stock would drop.

I’m good with that. I’m talking about people that want him playing here. I don’t see it happening but I’d be ok with it. -

No he said it wasn’t just 6 teams that he was ok with. Someone started a rumor saying it was only 6 and he said that was a lie. -

Yeah whoever drafts him has the rights, but you shouldn’t spend a premium pick on a player that doesn’t want to be there. -

Yeah how bold to assume the currently worst ran franchise might be on his list…. -

It’s not a narrative. It’s a quote… https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/deion-sanders-planning-to-throw-a-wrench-in-2025-nfl-draft-by-having-colorado-stars-pull-an-eli-manning/ "I know where I want them to go," Deion said on the podcast, via ESPN. "So, it's certain cities that ain't going to happen. It's going to be an Eli." -
Apparently Bowers made Beck look a lot better than he is…

Do they play Texas this year?
-
Similar to AR. Not as big but probably further along as a passer.
-
He needs to sit for a minute at the next level. His physical abilities are off the charts though.
-
Throw in Crosby.
-
Love how they see a Bams player grabbing his facemask during that review. Of course it wasn’t called.
-
I look forward to seeing what Nico and Arch can do next year.
-
Right. Gotta take care of Bama. Killed the drive with penalties.

Another drop on a deep pass by UT
-
Sanders is good but do you think his dad is going to let him play here? He already said he has a list of teams his son will play for. I doubt we are on that list.
-
That was a beautiful pass

The Illinois and Syracuse QBs don’t look bad, especially if they can be had later. Trade the top pick to the Raiders or a team that loves Sanders. -
Hid OL started playing bad during that Arkansas game and he started developing bad habits. Hell we know about throwing young QBs behind bad OL play…

Dalton has voided years on his contract with us. Makes him pricey to keep.
