  1. Who is your list of available coaches with previous HC experience? Sean Peyton and Jim Harbaugh will want full roster control and we would have to trade for Peyton. Frank Reich would be one, but who else are you thinking of?
  2. That's fair, but I also think Rosen was suppose to be much more "pro ready" than AR is right now.
  3. The only problem I see is he is going to be a question mark still after a year. Remember it took Allen 2 years to look the part. So if we have AR and he struggles (as expected) do we still just draft Williams or Maye?
  4. You would be surprised. I could see a team using AR in a simplistic running offense and letting him grow in it. The Bills rolled with Allen before he was ready and just let him struggle for a year or two. I could also see a team drafting him high with a bridge QB. Most teams will have some sort of capable starter before the draft because you don’t know if a QB will be available or not when you pick.
  5. It could happen. Teams could fall in love with Levis or Richardson (especially after the underwear Olympics) and he could fall like Fields did.
  6. What if Stroud falls to us? Would you roll with him?
  7. Backup/bridge on a decent contract seems perfect for how he has played. He definitely elevated his play, but showed he still struggles under pressure and when the defense knows a pass is coming. Signing him as the future QB will just set us up for more seasons like this.
  8. Darnold played decent until the pressure was on him. He had a couple INTs get dropped and DJ bailed him out if several high/low throws. Our secondary was banged up and when we needed a final drive he struggled. DJ got OPI to prevent another easy INT. What I gathered is Sam can play well when there is no pressure for him to perform and the defense isn’t playing the pass. That’s ok for a backup, but the people on here thinking he is ready to be our guy next year are setting themselves up for disappointment.
  9. I don’t think there is a prospect worth 3 first round picks which seems to be the asking price anymore. Giving up next year’s plus a little extra for the right prospect is a big of a risk as I’d want to take.
  10. We do have DJax and Horn coming back granted they are always injured, but I think that keeps CB from being an early round pick. DE is a huge need though…
  11. Did he blame Darnold in the presser? I missed that...
  12. Tepper was looking that way with Rhule but firing him this season gave me some faith in him. He will keep trying until we get it right I think…
  13. Oh I know. I was just curious if it was more Wilks or Darnold that would piss you off the most about that move. Wilks with Ben Johnson or Pep Hamilton plus an experienced, successful DC would be interesting. I don’t think Wilks would roll with Darnold as the answer. He was pretty adamant about wanting to trade up and draft his QB when he was at Arizona. Also the look in his face when Darnold threw that pick and fumbled the snap was pretty telling he isn’t sold on him…
  14. All because their dumb ass owner likes Saturday as a person. What a terrible franchise. Between Peyton Manning and Andrew Luck they have what one Super Bowl win??
  15. What if it’s Wilks with his own staff and a different QB?
  16. We had 8 QB hits and 3 sacks. That’s not terrible. The problem was our secondary was banged up.
  17. They only averaged 2.7 yards a carry and 67 total rushing yards so it looks like he kept in gap in control for run defense?
  18. If you aren’t crazy about the QBs in this draft then yeah that makes sense. If you are waiting on a perfect roster to draft one you might be waiting a while.
  19. It looked like Burns was playing some weird ass zone coverage. Even along the LOS he was staying in a spot and trying to shift left or right based oh how the play was developing. I think he is a good player than needs a better DC to be even better.
  20. We are waaaay better off than the Bears offensively. We were putting up points with PJ Walker. Our OL is decent and young, Moore just needs a QB, TMJ is finally getting playing time and healthy. We are built to be a power running teams and a decent amount of teams couldn’t stop it. That’s perfect to slide a rookie QB in IMO. It’s hard to have a perfect roster and the ability to draft a top tier QB.
  21. I agree and neither player is equipped mentally or physically to shut down a HoF WR by themselves.
  22. You just can’t leave our 3rd and 4th string CB on an island with Evans 3 plus times…
  23. Should have been ANOTHER pick, DJ saved Sam again…
