  1. Thanks for your insight and contribution. Why in the world would you read/react to a board that was been "ruined" in your eyes? Is there nothing else you can do with your free time?
  2. I didn't realize Rhule had some fans still hanging around. I'm optimistic that he is learning and through his experienced coordinators/assistants and Fitt taking on more of the GM responsibilities that he can still have us winning some games soon. I don't really think the Bengals coach is that great, but he got some talented players and let his coordinators do their thing which worked out well for him. Something like that could work out in Rhule's favor. However outside of my cautious optimism that he can learn/evolve I don't really seen what he has done that has contributed to our success as a franchise...
  3. Lol fair point. If I remember correctly that defense carried them through most of their wins with him...
  4. It was Josh McDaniels who didn’t exactly kill it with his The Golden Calf of Bristol project.
  5. I think that's a definite. The real question is can our staff do as well as New England's did developing a rookie QB.
  6. That's a high bar... Burrow didn't exactly light it up his first start and Manning threw a ton of INTs his rookie year. Even out of last year's loaded class the only rookie QB that looked decent was Mac Jones. We may never find another Cam Newton, but that doesn't mean Corral can't be a great QB for us.
  7. I think Tepper enjoys the spotlight, but he wants a QB that can win games with means he needs to be a leader. He was the one behind bringing Cam back and also wanted to go all in on Deshaun Watson, both are leaders of their teams and would outshine Rhule. I'm thinking a lot of Tepper's excitement is being a new owner and it will wear off sooner or later and he will sit back and let his staff do their jobs once they prove they are able to do so.
  8. I'll be happy if Icky is a franchise LT, Corral is just an incredible bonus if he works out!
  9. Our RBs are going to love running to the left side! Hell we have Moton and Corbett on the right. (I think Corbet is better at pass protection though but I could be wrong).
  10. Love hearing the Icky part! Nearly ran the OL holding the pad into the ground made me laugh out loud. The mean is a beast and hopefully will be our LT for a long time.

  12. We just need a vet backup like Foles. Our goal at the QB position should be to get Corral up to speed and see if he has what it takes before the next draft. Someone like Foles could start the first few games until Corral is ready.
  13. Yeah I got it. He could still suck, but have his best season yet.

  15. True, but I don't see us as a contender yet.
  16. It's also assuming Mike Thomas plays/stays healthy. Landry and Kamara have some injury concerns as well...
  17. The whole Cam situation kind of proves his point though. We had an elite talent in Cam Newton come to our franchise and never gave him a proper OL or many weapons. Instead we ran him into the ground, watched him get hit constantly in the pocket and shortened his career. That kind of stuff shouldn't happen to elite QBs. Look at the Bengals loading up on weapons/OL because they know they have something in Burrow.

  19. https://www.derp/2022/5/16/23074081/czikks-take-could-matt-corral-be-the-opening-day-starter Corral looks like he has bulked up some in this picture. It could just be the angle and how he is stepping forward, but 15 more pounds or so and it will have similar measurements to Aaron Rodgers.
  20. True, but I’m sure fighting through constant contact behind the line of scrimmage contributed some wear and tear. That cut shouldn’t normally injure a person in his shape, I think all the hits did the most damage that was just the final straw needed to injure him.
