  1. Give it up. You stated he REQUIRES (I'm assuming you know what that word means) both feet to leave the ground before he throws deep passes. I provided evidence showing that is wrong. You were wrong, got carried away, overexaggerated. It happens, just move on. So yeah there is a screenshot of him doing it but he does not ALWAYS do it which means it is not a REQUIREMENT.
  2. https://www.panthers.com/video/must-see-bryce-young-slings-45-yard-dime-on-the-money-to-mike-strachan Here is a 45 yard pass. Spoiler Alert.... He doesn't have to leave his feet for it.
  3. This is the part I am talking about. He does not REQUIRE both of his feet to leave the ground as per both the clips I have shown you. Then you switched to focusing in on solely his hip rotation and weak arm etc... His deep ball does not require both of his feet to leave the ground. Your original claim is debunked with video evidence. I'm sorry that you are having trouble handling or grasping that. Back to his weak arm, mechanics, size etc.. have at it. Here is the thread about QBs leaving their feet which I was referencing too earlier.
  4. Oh I watched the 1-15 season and last years 2-15 season. I'll watch this year. Eventually they have to get it right? Right?? I used to get more worked up about it, but if you can turn the switch and make it a purely entertainment hobby it's a lot easier.
  5. That argument could be used for actual trolls. “If you don’t like it find somewhere else to post” is just silly. Some of us are just letting you know, you are sounding like a broken record on these threads. It’s just some constructive criticism. You don’t have to change your ways. I doubt you will. Just wanted to make sure you were aware. Feel free to deflect and use one of those GIFs again.
  6. It went from he has to jump to he has to bend his hips. That’s changing it. I showed you clips of him throwing deep without jumping which means he doesn’t always have to. I liked and like Stroud better so I’m not really a Bryce defender. Just think you don’t have to make up things when critiquing our QB like he has to jump to throw it deep. There is plenty of ammo there without those exaggerations. Oh yeah the “you don’t know ball” argument. Classic.
  7. So now the conversations pivots. That's how it goes. Yes Stroud is the better passer. Thanks for that groundbreaking info...
  8. It's just becoming spam. Same take on every thread. That's just where people getting annoyed with your "take" are coming from. There is nothing wrong with your critiques as most are pretty accurate. The ones that are laying low or hiding aren't taking the bait. I think hopefully all of us at this point understand how you feel about our situation with Bryce. You can scream it from the rooftops keep spamming it on repeat, but the trade was made and we have to get through another year regardless.
  9. I think the issue is there isn't any more of these posters still active on this site. Everyone I see posting now either doesn't like Bryce or wants to see him in a better situation to make a better assessment. I think everyone agrees he has work to do in order to show us he can become the QB we need him to. Who knows if he will or if he can, but there are definitely other conversations to be had without being stuck on repeat and every thread turning into the same one. It sounds like you need to find the Bryce Fan Boys from before the draft and just vent/hash it all out with them somewhere.
  10. He doesn’t do it every time he throws a deep pass. It depends on where he is in the pocket, where the OL is, coverage etc… Here it is in the NFL if you want to cry this was college https://www.panthers.com/video/must-see-young-s-48-yard-pass-to-hurst-is-qb-s-longest-nfl-completion-so-far
  11. Do we need to bring that thread up showing all of the NFL QBs leaving their feet during passes? If the form is right leading up the pass I’m ok with it.
  12. Maalik Murphy will be eligible, big QB with big upside but I’m assuming he stays in school unless he has a great season. Riley Leonard has a lot of upside as well and I expect him to look a lot better at Notre Dame. I’m also curious to see Connor Weigman at Texas A&M. He put up some solid numbers in limited games.
  13. Scheme and fit matter definitely, but if you are an NFL QB (especially a talented one) there will be flashes and some signs. I think the ones that get their careers broken are in inadequate offenses (bad weapons, bad OL, no running game etc…) and a constant turnover of staff can do it. Basically what the Bears did with Fields and what we have done with Bryce so far.
  14. Yes you have said all of that as well. I was just saying having concerns about a one year OC transitioning to HC and trying to call plays like you have stated before as well implies he could be in over his head this first year. I’m not calling you out or anything. It’s a concern and I’m sure there will be some growing pains along the way. As for the Bryce thing, he is either a NFL QB or he isn’t. If he doesn’t look any better this year, then I think we simply move on and let Canales pick his guy. I think Beck has a big arm if that’s his type. Trying to build a very unique roster just to see if he can find success isn’t a good idea IMO. If he looks much better this year then sure you can cater a little more to his skillset.
  15. Maybe not enough experience yet? They seemed to keep him around until another team offered him a promo, so they didn’t think too badly of him. WR coach to passing game coordinator to QB coach.
  16. I'm pretty sure you have stated concerns about him being a first year HC after only being an OC once and wanting to call plays. I would say that is thinking he is in over his head regardless of the QB situation. I'm not saying you are wrong either as it is a valid concern. Hopefully we show some patience with him to see what he can do.
  17. I'm thinking we keep the 3-4 regardless, because Brown is really shining as a 3-4 DE which looks to be his natural position. He is pretty much the building block for out defense.
  18. Yeah and my point is there is an article talking about what they are doing to correct Young's footwork and people are wanting to know "why it was posted?" This one isn't as much of a fluff piece, looks like its more transparent and people still don't like it. Also fluff pieces will always exist because its a bustiness. There is a whole PR group dedicated to it. Like you said, if you aren't a fan of them (which is understandable) then just ignore them.
  19. The Anti-Bryce Posters have replaced the Bryce Fanboys from before the draft. It's like they are stuck on repeat. We might as well bring back @rippadonnif we are wanting to read the same spam constantly on every thread.
  20. So we don't like fluff pieces and we don't like transparent pieces? What is the answer? Just no news or updates because people don't like that either...
  21. I’m intrigued. I think we should get a lot of questions answered. How does our new HC adjust with his new role, a better assessment of our QB, how important was Burns to the defense, can Evero piece together another defense with limited parts etc…
  22. Are you allowed to post fluff pieces?? (Kidding) He worked a long time under Carroll. I hope he learned a ton under him. They do share similar personalities.
  23. He is out there coaching his teammates. I love it!
