  1. I was about to attack this low hanging fruit, but you beat me to it. Nice job!
  2. Stroud is humble and legit. Texans are lucky to have him. He does literally say the Texans GM did a better job putting pieces around him. Mentions QBs being powerless when blocks get missed or players drop balls. I mean the player benefiting from it is straight up telling us and people on here will still try to deny it. For the 100th time, Stroud can be the better player AND be in a better situation. Both things can be true.
  3. Apology accepted. Yeah it was 3 weeks old but the recent video relates directly to it so there was no need for a new one. It is the offseason after all. We have a continuous thread about Young’s arm still going strong.
  4. Or they just have a different opinion than you. CJ Stroud is explaining their different circumstances and he is still confident in Young. I don’t think Stroud is coping. You can think he is a bust and someone else can think he will turn it around. Bother are acceptable opinions without trying to label the other.
  5. Stroud breaks down their different situations at the 16 minute mark here. He is a smart, humble man. Texans are lucky.
  6. I guess people have different opinions on that?
  7. This is kind of interesting. ESPN has a redraft for this past draft.. https://www.espn.com/nfl/insider/insider/story/_/id/39423332/redrafting-first-two-rounds-63-picks-2023-nfl-class it has us taking Stroud at 1, AR to the Texans, and Young goes at 11 to the Titans.
  8. If only there was some official event where they actual measure his height in front of a group of people that could put an end to this debate?? Oh well back to looking at pictures and guessing…
  9. Yeah I couldn’t imagine him being that guy. At the same time if he wants to play for a contender we should just trade him to one and let Mingo play slot (his natural position).
  10. Yeah being so obsessed on way or another is strange. He is a football player. He measured just over 5’10” which is very small for a QB. There is no need to over exaggerate it or get too worked up one way or another. Let’s just see if he can develop, if not we move on.
  11. Agreed. The spot where we took him can’t be changed. Hopefully he can develop into our QB. If not we will just have to try to draft one again.
  12. Just lazy. He was acting like Canales had his addiction issues in 2022. The year his book was published. He is too lazy to actually read the articles he wants to use but finds the time to write a billionaire a 20 paragraph letter on a message board he will never read. You really can’t make this stuff up…
  13. He missed his teammate’s football camp because he had to go to a funeral. The guy was blowing him up over $600 for the plane ticket. Thats a lot less money to these guys than us. The fact the other guy “sucker punched” him tells you what kind of person he was at the moment. No @electro's horse someone buying your plane ticket to go to their football camp wouldn’t classify as gambling…. Why don’t you try to write Tepper another strongly worded letter. It’s time better spent than trying to serve as the Huddle’s TMZ making up nonsense about staff and players.
  14. You might want to check on your character assassinations before you run wild with them. Regarding Geno Smith getting sucker punched.
  15. 2022 as in the year his book was published? What did he do in 2022 that is so conflicting?
  16. Agreed. The hope is that Young can become a Burrow-Lite with the right cast around him. Burrow started off with Higgins, Boyd, and Mixon. Of course Chase made him next level.
  17. I mean throwing with AR, Levis, and Stroud would make most QBs look bad. I don’t blame him. Probably the same reason Burrow didn’t want to throw with Herbert.
  18. Yeah I have no idea if he will work out or not, but if I were him I’d be all in on Burrow’s film and offseason regime. Their playing style is similar and neither have a cannon. Burrow is making it work, granted he has some great weapons. Also guess who didn’t throw at his combine?? https://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/around-the-afc-north-joe-burrow-won-t-throw-at-combine-but-would-play-for-bengal
  19. That’s just a timing issue though. The ball basically travels the same with the same velocity. There are plenty of other examples that one just took 5 seconds to find and was similar with both throwing off the run and the same distance. On a side note here is what Burrow did his first offseason to get more velocity. (Take notes Bryce) https://bengalswire.usatoday.com/2021/05/31/bengals-joe-burrow-tweaked-throwing-motion-rehab/
  20. Love Burrow and loved him as a prospect. That play kind of shows what I’m talking about though. He didn’t stay in the pocket and deliver a bullet. He scrambled around and lobbed up at 35 yard pass. The ball doesn’t look much different here than Burrow throwing off the run. Just looking at arm strength.
  21. Manning himself compared him to Burrow. I was comparing his arm strength. https://sports.yahoo.com/peyton-manning-believes-bryce-young-210102148.html?src=rss
  22. I might get some hate for this but I think he can get it to Burrow’s level. It’s nothing special but it’s good enough, especially if he can get the touch/timing down. They had similar college tape (I think Manning was the first to point this out) with obviously Burrow being a lot taller. Burrow is interesting because he invested his first offseason strengthening his hips to get more “zip” on his passes which he was able to do. https://theanalyst.com/na/2022/02/the-rise-of-cincinnati-bengals-joe-burrow-super-bowl-lvi/#:~:text=While Burrow does not have,of a pocket around him. Here is a decent read on how Burrow has made it work without an elite arm.
