  1. Yeah I mean it was known he wanted Fields, but Rhule drafted Horn. It’s still kind of strange we even know who the owner wants/wanted to draft though…
  2. We could have stole him for a 4th AND he was a local kid. Great for marketing/ratings and a great arm.
  3. Nah I cut him from my fantasy team so he will have a decent (for Miles) game like he did Sunday.
  4. 2 different circumstances. Both have terrible OLs, but Washington has a better OC and weapons by a good margin. Plus Howell was able to sit a year aside from that last game. I also think Howell should have been a first round pick and was a steal for Washington. It is very alarming that Young regressed a lot last game. It will be interesting to see if he bounces back Thursday or continues to regress.
  5. It's hit or miss, making it inconsistent which means it's not an accurate indicator of the season.
  6. When Bell is healthy he is solid. I kind of like Hill too. Trading away Moore and switching the OL scheme just killed our offense.
  7. Evero is up and coming so was Brown (still needs more experience). I don't think many teams are going to pluck any of them away from our mess of a season. I wonder when was the last time an assistant from a bottom tier team got offered a HC job somewhere else?
  8. Harbaugh might punch Tepper in one of their meetings.
  9. Deuce would work! He would absolutely have this team playing fired up similar to Pierce in LV right now and what Wilks did for us last year. Give him 2024 to put his stamp on the roster and see what he can do. If all else fails we can do a full reset in 2025.
  10. Who on our staff is next in line for the interim-HC job?
  11. I feel like there is a very similar path with the possibility of Evero and Morgan taking over in the offseason or earlier to see what they can do before the full reset in 2025.
  12. They stack up favorable to Burns. Sweat is not quite as good at pass rushing, but better at run defense (should be cheaper too). Young could be great, but has injury issues.
  13. I think we could have used that 2nd round pick on a pass rusher plus signed a decent one. Hell we could have traded for either of Washington's pass rushers and still had those 1sts.
  14. Yeah having similar ideas for offense and you are mad the offense looks similar???
  15. You are missing the point. I don't care if you like Brown. I like Brown and Evero just fine. The blocking we are using is the same blocking Brown learned under in LAR. I'm just stating there are obvious components of a Brown offense in here as well, and the OL might be the worst part of our offense. The whole collaboration thing Brown was talking about lines up. All you have told me about Frank is he runs shotgun a lot which we were going to do anyway with Young. You have to stop trying to hijack these threads with your old repetitive arguments.
  16. I think that GIF should just be the default response to him when he starts going down his deep conspiracy road. He should make it his avatar.
  17. What if I told you are zone OL blocking scheme is very similar to the one McVay runs in LAR where Brown learned? People were excited about Corbet coming back because he is familiar with it from his time there.
  18. Yeah see this is where it starts sounding crazy. All of this for something your average fan doesn't really care about. Coaches exaggerating how good his players are/his coaching it makes sense and happens all the time. Hell they SHOULD do this to a degree to give their team confidence. What you are talking ab out looks like this...
  19. But take last year's roster/team when they were healthy (yes it's hard to imagine Horn healthy) and replace Darnold with CJ Stroud (or some other solid young QB). Add in a few FAs and mid/late draft picks and those roster/team SHOULD be competitive. The problem is they switched schemes to nullify the OL (our offensive strength), traded away the only true weapon on offense, replaced Foreman with Sanders etc...
  20. lol yeah without a doubt to a degree. There are always some elements of playing to strengths in every roster. AT moving to the slot vs outside would be an example, moving to a 3-4 for Brown and Burns is another. Overlooking the skillset of his OL is by far the biggest mistake he has made this offseason. Lying about who helped design a playbook though would have no advantage whether it be PR or hype about the team. That's when things overblown by us fans and legit complaints get lumped into nonsense ones.
  21. Which is why I'm not too concerned about what really thought about the roster/team before the season started. He and his staff developed an offense without taking into consideration the strength of the players on the roster.
  22. Yeah I think he jumped the gun on changing the entire scheme before the roster was ready.
  23. The guy that's having our OL playing the wrong scheme which is turning an actual strength to a weakness in an already depleted roster?
  24. Yep I was typing similar. If we are rebuilding then do a legit rebuild.
