He is not. He is in the 170s... -
Is it time to take the Falcons seriously?

I wouldn't be surprised if they sign another edge rusher like Clowny or Ngakoue if the price is right...

Bryce Young the favorite on FanDuel

That 3 pick will get calls if Houston takes Anderson. Hell the 2 might get calls if they don't want a QB. -
We have some bright minds in this new staff. I wouldn't be surprised to see some of the later picks work out better than in the past.

Man if CJ drops someone will get a steal IMO. Wouldn't it be interesting if the Falcons draft him and we start a Young/Stroud rivalry in the NFCS? -

I think their HC is pretty underrated. He had them competing in some games last year where they were clearly outmatched. -

But Bryce Young did good on a test...right??

Arm strength is probably the right answer. He is a very accurate QB. At Fresno State, he completed 68.2% of his passes. In his final season, Haener had a completion percentage of 72%. In addition to being accurate, Haener was extremely careful with the football. In three seasons, Haener had a 67:17 TD-INT ratio for the Bulldogs -
Person: Richardson still in the conversation...if we trade down

Good point. I could see us using 33 and 39 to get back into the first and draft JSN or Porter Jr (both came in for visits) to go with AR. Would we value AR and JSN over Young and Downs for example. It's interesting and I'm glad I'm not making the decision. -

Good catch. Would it not be close to the same value as a FUTURE 1st? -

I've always heard (and don't agree with it) that a future 1st holds less value. A current 2nd could be viewed as equal to a future 1st. It always takes more than just a future 1st to acquire even the last pick in the first because the value of time. -

Would 33 not have the same value as next year's 1st? This year's top 2nd round pick vs next year mystery 1st round pick. -

There you are! I was waiting for you to give us the scoop about your boy Haener. -

It still makes me lol. Look at the wind resistant on that thing. It probably slowed down their 40 times.

Exactly. People are overhyping this S2 test. You can't brag about Young acing it and ignore Fields/Levis doing well but having processing issues. Tape is the king when looking at these players. Young has elite tape. -

The main issue that I keep reading for him is he "lacks ideal size" -

Yeah I was reading his weaknesses... https://thedraftnetwork.com/sr-prospect/jake-haener-d9059b47-4403-4237-bcdf-b79d00a69c48/ Overall, if Haener were bigger and stronger we would be talking about a sure-fire top-10 pick, but unfortunately, he is not. With his lack of high-end traits, it’s hard to see Haener ever being a top starter at the next level, but with his natural ability as a passer and the competitive toughness he displays, I would not be shocked to see him develop into a low-level starter who you can win with if you surround him with a good team. I would not bet against this player *He is 6'0" 207 BTW -

He is listed on the S2 with Brees, Mahomes, Allen, and Burrow as mid 90s. It's funny how people think he has issues processing yet this test is showing the opposite. Levis is right there at 93 so maybe we shouldn't be so against him as well... -

I wonder why Haener isn't getting more hype? He is only 1 point behind him tied with Burrow. -
