  1. The coach/ staff that picked Ridder is still there, he actually played in NFL games and looked capable. Reich is going to want to pick his guy and Corral gave him 0 reasons to believe in him.
  2. This is what people aren't understanding. Waiting next year for Maye/Williams is far from a guarantee. The bottom two teams aren't trading those picks if those 2 players have great years again. Our roster is too strong for us to have a bottom 2 pick, so we are going to have to trade up or draft a guy that needs some coaching developing which is what we hired Reich for.
  3. I think they give Ridder a full year. He was suppose to be a bit of a project and looked ok towards the end of the year when he got playing time. If I were them I would roll with Ridder and if he doesn't grow/develop look into next year's class which might be pretty deep.
  4. Exactly. We are just playing players like Chinn and Burns to their strengths with a better DC and the same amount of holes as before.
  5. Andy Reid is also a "QB Whisperer" and let's see he worked with McNabb 2nd overall pick and Mahomes who he traded up to pick 10 to draft. McVay (another whisperer) worked with top overall pick Goff and top overall pick Stafford. It's like these offensive guys also need talented QBs (as in first round talent) to run their offense at its full potential...
  6. 1st round QBs have a higher success rate. It's been shown on here through several forms of data. Can you get lucky and find one in the later round? Sure, but they are even more rare than the 1st round ones (which are also hard to come by).
  7. I agree 1000%. I just think some people are just overreacting to the 3-4 defense switch (if it even happens). We have pieces on defense that make it a lot easier to fill the holes we have there. IE Brown next to an average DL starter should make him look a lot better.
  8. We needed a DT, DE, LB (maybe 2), and a FS keeping our same 4-3 defense. We now need a FS, NT, DE, and maybe LB. We needed depth regardless, so how exactly does switching to a 3-4 give us MORE holes on defense? It looks about the same except Burns is in his more natural position and Chinn can play LB which is his more natural position.
  9. We don't need sideline pictures to guess at the height and weight of these players. The combine handles all the measurements for us. Matt Corral Height: 73.63 inches Weight: 212 pounds BMI: 28.16 Arm Length: 30.75 inches Hand Size: 9.63 inches Wingspan: 74.500 inches
  10. I mean we needed another LB, DT, DE, and FS even with a 4-3 defense and that's with guys like Burns playing out of position. Sounds like we need around the same amount of players for a 3-4 except Burns and Chinn can play much more to their strengths.
  11. Denver should have been playing against much better offenses being in the AFC West vs NFC South.
  12. It was mentioned that Staley with keep his current title at minimum, but could be named OC when they hired him as well.
  13. It would be more difficult for the OC with Staley guaranteed a job, Campen as you mentioned, and Reich calling plays.
  14. Big school, interior OL, and in the late rounds. All 3 point to a possible steal in the draft. I’d love a pick like this and to let Campen do his thing.
  15. At least he appears to have learned from his mistake and wasn’t afraid to fire Rhule midseason. Mistakes and bad hires will happen, correcting it quickly and adjusting are promising responses.
  16. Their defense looked solid though. If Reich and Staley can get our offense to be respectable it should be an interesting year.
  17. Big stack of cash plus looked at Burns, Brown, Chinn, and Horn as a young core.
  18. This is fantastic! We really needed a great defensive mind. Reich and Staley can handle the offense (plus whoever else we hire). I’m loving this new staff so far Reich, Staley, Tabor, Campen, and now Evero (who is on his way to being a HC very soon)!
  19. I’d rather spend a late pick on one and also have Mayes fill in if neeeded.
  20. I think Corbett broke his ankle and BC also got hurt. I’m not aware of Bozeman being injured…
  21. Kind of makes me think if he do draft Richardson at 9, Hooker with our 4th could work as a complimentary backup for him. The offense wouldn’t have to change much. We are probably much better off with a vet, but it’s a thought…
