    I’m sure Houston told him no AFC. It’s why Miami and the Steelers backed off.

    I think he played well, was just a cap casualty. He is a solid starting OG in the league than can also play RT. He would definitely upgrade our line.

    Chiefs signed Thuney last year because they were serious about repairing their OL. If you want a great OL you are going to have to pay for him.

    I’d be ok with him for the right price. He was starting in Buffalo. A pile of horse poo would do better than our guards played last year.

    I don’t these these vets care where they go if the money is right. Schreff went to the Jags and Tomlinson to the Jets which haven’t been the most stable franchises. We are just hanging around waiting for Watson like dumb asses….

    Because Tepper will literally do whatever he wants him to. Pick the coach, players, hell Tepper will probably do the man’s laundry for him. Desperate decisions rarely turn out well….

    I watched the Ole Miss game and he played terrible the first half. It was a huge mismatch. His OL got destroyed by a superior DL and he had no one open. What exactly did you want him to do there?? Liberty vs Ole Miss could have/should have looked a lot worse. That’s usually a 50 point win for Ole Miss.

    Sweet now take away Watt, Hopkins, any first-third round picks they drafted and give them a worse coach. Also I’m pretty sure they had one of the biggest choke jobs by letting the Chiefs make one if the biggest playoff comebacks in NFL history against them. Who needs a defense??

    People are obsessing over a player that never took his previous team with a better capital situation to the Super Bowl. If we land him he will get suspended then hurt behind our terrible OL.

    I don’t want him on our team because of what it will cost and the allegations. He is a top 5 QB in the league especially when you factor how young he still is. I’d much rather draft Willis and try to build around him.

    I feel like it’s a little exaggerated. It’s probably more of having him in on some of the meetings when they are considering staff and which direction they are going. It is a smart decision? No. But I’m afraid the league is heading this way anyway after the Russ/Rodgers issues the past two seasons.

    I think he was told he would, but they never did in Houston and that’s why he was upset.

    I’m referring to what we would be giving up. Watson also hasn’t played in over a year and will have a lot of mental distractions now. Maybe he will be the same, maybe not.

    That would be 2 first round picks on cheap rookie contracts. If Watson could be had for 2 firsts and had a cheap contract then it would be more comparable…
